It's only the Carling Cup.

Honestly don't give a **** about this tournament, it just hurts being beaten by Spurs. :(

I hadn't been supporting Spurs for nearly long enough to see them beat Arsenal, although they came close a couple times (e.g., Carling Cup last year). Is it still a rivalry if one team never beats the other? Geez. Beating them more than once a decade would be nice.

To me the good news is that they still have a chance to win something, and this looks like the only way they can qualify for European play next season.

Spurs were top class last night.

Did the cameras pick up the Bentner/Adebeyor incident as they didnt show it at the time?

In local news, Carlisle have re-signed former West Brom and Nottingham Forest striker Scott Dobie. It wouldn't be the first time we've reserected someones career, the question on everyones lips now of course is how long before he plays for Hull City.

I thought Scott Dobie was going have to give up the game as he hasnt recovered from his hip injury that forced him to get an op in US a year or so ago?

I'm definitely cheering for Spurs in the Carling Cup final...

Looks like Bendtner and Adebayor might get carded after the ref watches footage of the incident.

Looks like Wenger is living in the same fantasy world as Ferguson - Wenger didn't see the fight about as much as Fergie didn't make an "up yours" gesture to the fans the other day.:D

Can you be carded for violent conduct against your teammate?

Funny you should mention that – I believe Michael Bridges is due back today from his loan spell with Sydney FC. We could maybe arrange a swap deal with Carlisle for him and Dobie? ;)

With his well-documented injury problems, I can't believe we haven't been in for him before...

Imagine the Hull City treatment room on Monday:

Jay-Jay Okocha
Henrik Pedersen
Michael Bridges (is bound to injure himself getting off the plane)
Nick Barmby (he has been fit for the last few games so he will have been inured in Dubi)

How much would that lot been worth a few years ago?

Everton 0-1 Chelsea...was hoping to see a Spurs-Everton final but at least one team outside the top four made it...hopefully Juande Ramos and his boys can get it done in the final and secure some silverware.

Really? He did fantastically well at Hearts.

Yes he did for the four months and 12 games he had in charge. Done well at Ipswich too I believe (there is the Premiership link I needed to justify this post!)
Sorry I was referring to the West of Scotland bias in my office this morning, where if you don't belong to either half of the Old Firm you don't exist.

Just about, watch the background at about 27 seconds.

It's a pity your birthday was last week, that would have been a perfect gift. ;)

:D Who wouldn't want a copy of that epic victory though?

I'm hopeful but not guaranteed of my ticket to United away in April to see Arsenal win the league at Old Trafford again :p. Next season I will try to get on the away season ticket list, guarantees every away game then. :)
