I hope the Premier League teams draw each other, and I'm still hoping for an upset win in the final. It's no fun watching the big four steamroll League One teams.

I'd like an away trip.. preferably not to Premiership opposition, and somewhere fairly near. :)

Coventry? I've heard they're quite good.

:rolleyes::D

*Sigh*

Bristol Rovers v Southampton
Cardiff City v Wolves
Sheffield United v Middlesbrough
Liverpool v Barnsley
Manchester United v Arsenal
Preston v Portsmouth
Coventry City v West Brom
Chelsea v Huddersfield Town

At Old Trafford. Can anyone say Extra Time? Least it'll be on the tele. If it's on a Sunday I might have to burn the BBC to the ground.

I don't think they will have Extra Time at Old Trafford, maybe the Emirates though?

My winners are:

Bristol Rovers
Cardiff
Sheff Utd
Liverpool
Arsenal
Portsmouth
West Brom
Chelsea

Yeh what? And Mr Jeremy Clarkson impersonator too? Bah! We'll show you all - you'll all pay - bwahaha...[cough, splutter].

Ehem.

Guess its Man Utd v Arsenal, Pompey Preston and ?Boro Sheff Utd on telly. With Liverpool and Chelsea the other options I wouldn't put it past the Beeb to have another Chelsea or Liverpool game, though once agan our fixture is prime for an upset.

Not quite what I had in mind.. but not that upset. A fun trip to Manchester on the cards in 3 weeks time, I'm pretty sure I'll be going. :) Can't wait. Looks like Robin, Toure, Eboue and all of our currently missing players should be around for then.

Being a number two suits Dennis Wise, given that the guy's a little... ;)

I was surprised to hear this though, things had (unfortunately) been going well for him at dirty, dirty Leeds.

Oh to hear the words:

Kevin Keegan: "Dennis, do you know Joey Barton"

Just stand back and watch, pure magic!

Two interesting facts from this weekend's FA Cup 4th round:

1) There were no draws, all 16 games finished with a winner. This is the first time this has happened since 1957.

2) Only 6 of the remaining 16 teams left in the cup are Premier League teams. Here's hoping they all draw each other in the 5th round, meaning only 3 of the 8 quarter finalists would be from the premier league.

FA Cup 5th Round Draw

Bristol Rovers v Southampton
Cardiff City v Wolves
Sheffield United v Middlesbrough
Liverpool v Barnsley
Manchester United v Arsenal
Preston North End v Portsmouth
Coventry v West Bromwich Albion
Chelsea v Huddersfield Town

bold = who i am rooting for now...

I assume you're first part of the message was quoting my earlier message.

I found it amazing that 'King Kev' didn't know what was going on with Dennis Wise (Did anyone see the News Conference?) he just directed all of the questions to Chris Mort... Crazy.

Looks like Spurs got Woodgate...sounds like a good move, they need defenders badly.

Multiple baggage though. He's injury prone (Middlesbrough's training facilities are second to none and we couldn't get him right), he's not on form, and he apparently likes to party. Joining the Spice boys [Jenas, Defoe et al] in London ain't gonna help. £7 million is good business for a guy who plays very infrequently and fgoes off the rails otherwise.

Leeds doing well until Poyet left, big drop in form, then Wise jumps ship.

Regarding Woodgate, there has been a lot of talk of him leaving Teesside to get away from “off the field influences” that have troubled him in the past and more recently. If he wasnt injury prone I‘m sure he would have joined a top 4 team, but other teams have to take a risk to get top players. When he plays he is as good as any central defender in the WORLD.
