Ok, time to make it harder:

Name three players have been relegated with 4 different Premiership clubs?

Ashley Ward:

Barnsley - 1998

Bradford City - 2001

Nathan Blake:
Sheffield United - 1994
Bolton Wanderers - 1996 & 1998
Blackburn Rovers - 1999
Wolverhapton Wanderers - 2004

Nigel Quashie:
QPR - 1996
Nottingham Forest - 1999
Southampton - 2005
West Bromwich Albion - 2006

It's not really much fun if you are just going to look them up online

i was enjoying...

poor owls....

bullen got one at the end but not enough...
losing effort 2-1 to bristol city

we're in the bottom 3...

JC is not going to be happy, Paul Dickov is destroying Hull right now.
He played very well Dickov, glad we fought back to level the match though. Currently, it's only goal difference keeping us out of the play-off places, and we've a game in hand... :)

To finish this one off, the missing name was Ashley Ward
Hang on... what about Nicholas Anelka following his recent transfer to Chelsea?

Here's a quick one for you then... as we all know, Liverpool did rather well in the eighties, winning the league title more times than any other club during that decade.

But which team finished as runners-up on the most occasions during the eighties?

EDIT: Taking into account Mitty's post below, I'll post the answer in white text here...

Liverpool

...in case anyone was wondering who it was, and we'll leave it at that. ;)

MOD NOTE

Not to be a spoilsport, but I strongly advice that the quizzes, how fun they might be are taken off-line... Games or game-like threads are not allowed and might cause this (already too long) thread to be locked or worse.

Thanks and sorry 'bout that... :(

Would love to say Ipswich but don't want to get the thread locked.

Much as I'm sure no-one cares, I'd just thought i'd single out England's No.1 David James for his superb display today.

As if there were any doubts that he should be the one representing our country :)

Heard on Sky Sports he pulled off a stunning save towards the end of the game. Looking forward to seeing it on MOTD.

Have to say at the moment James is looking like the best English Keeper in the Premiership, but I do think (and as a Birmingham fan, it pains me to say it) Scott Carson is the future as far as the England team goes.

I'd like to see Carson given a chance in a couple of the friendlies before the World Cup qualifiers begin – we know what James can do (and he is indeed enjoying some good form at the moment), but he's not getting any younger and we need to be grooming a couple of youngsters for the 'keeper's position. We don't want to be in the situation again that we were in when we played Russia, having to play a rookie international 'keeper in a crucial, must-win match.

James may be getting old, but he's the best English keeper on current form, and should have been chosen over Robinson during much of the McLaren reign.

My Number 2 would be either Scott Carson or Robert Green, depending on form.
