And therefore a non-Premier League club would qualify for next season's UEFA Cup. I can just imagine the teeth-gnashing now.If you are correct in your predictions, be nice to see Man Utd get Chelsea in the Semi-final so at least a non-premiership team makes it to Wembley.
It has to be Bristol Rovers former Tiger Danny Coles' ineptitude is so great it deserves to be shown on the international stage.Bristol Rovers or Cardiff City in the UEFA cup... That would be fantastic![]()
Teh Beeb said:Members of fans' website MyFootballClub will formally complete the takeover of Blue Square Premier side Ebbsfleet United on Tuesday.
In January more than 18,000 members voted on the £635,000 takeover, with 95.8% backing the Kent club's purchase.
Teh Beeb said:Rotherham say they will go into administration unless a major injection of cash is secured in the near future.
The club have filed notice to appoint an administrator and, unless the financial picture improves, will be docked 10 points as they were in 2006.

I think we'll see Liverpoor beaten again this evening, at the hands of Inter Milan. 2-0 to the visiting side, only for Liverpoor to win 3-1 in Milan.
I still think this is amazing. What must be going through the managers head...
Cardiff City Bluebirds!!
Sheffield United or Middlesbrough v Cardiff City
Manchester United v Portsmouth
Bristol Rovers v West Brom (Why not.)
Barnsley v Chelsea
Remaining Top Flight teams in Bold. Tie Winners (IMO) underlined.
That'll do for me. It'll be the 11th time in a row that Manchester United have played Top Flight opposition in the FA Cup.
Less than a week after Bournemouth suffered a similar fate, of course. And as this goes on and more and more clubs find themselves in financial trouble the richest ones only get richer. Also, more woes for Rotherham.
I don't know how much the Rotherham are in debt to the tune of, but I'd like to see how the figure compares against the weekly wage bill of an average Premier League club...
Guessing from that you are a Cardiff fan, if so, thanks for Cameron Jerome. Wasn't so sure last season but this year he has improved hugely.
The red card against Materazzi was sketchy, but Liverpool should have had a penalty with Vieira's handball in the box...so they got away with one there.
Pleased (and surpsrised) with the result at Anfield but was hoping that Real Madrid would beat Roma.
It's something he makes a habit of when visiting these shores, though. Wasn't he sent off four times in the 30-odd games he played for Everton? The red card against Materazzi was sketchy...

While it's a cool concept, how does a manager manage when he can't select his own team? he's essentially a puppet for a bunch of armchair gaffers.
The Ebbsfleet experiment as I like to think of it is really interesting and would like to see how this develops long term. However I do not think it is the way forward for the major clubs at this stage, e.g Liverpool.
I saw a really interesting stub on the BBC about the whole Rafa saga at the moment. A worthwhile read.
Gerrards goal was class I could watch that over and over again.
