Stupid American owners, and stupid Parry and Moores.

Actually, the way I see it Parry seems to be pretty effective, and Hicks is the problem child more than Gillette. Co-ownership seems a bad idea though.

I'm not convinced about DIC - yes, the sheik may be a lifelong Liverpool fan but he's also a shrewd businessman. Don't expect him to bleed Anfield Red if it also means bleeding himself white.

I also find the anti-American BS seen on banners at the games a bit funny, considering there are far more dodgy English owners in the Premier League than there are Americans.

Lord Blackadder, is there something you are not telling us???

And they could go ahead of you if their hearing in to the 15 points deduction goes in their favour.

Is that still going on. I thought they had a points deduction because of a breach of the rules about being bankrupt. I don't see on what grounds they are challenging this decision.

They are claiming they did nothing wrong BBC News

Should find out before 19th April.

I think it would be wrong to reverse the deduction. They did seem to try and pull a fast one. Plus of course there was the sneaky move of going in to administration as soon as they were relegated last season. They had the 10 point deduction for that when it meant nothing.

It was a rule break as far as I read (way back when it started) and as such had the correct punishment. It is not like the Tevez saga which was very grey to say the least.

And Sc*nthorpe too. :p

As for Leeds, they are under the impression that the points deduction shouldn't stand because they did nothing wrong, as the rules and procedures all other clubs who have gone into administration had to follow don't apply to them, because they're mighty Leeds United and are the country's biggest club.

In actual fact, they're a grubby little bunch of no-marks and I think they got off lightly with just a 15 point deduction. They were very close to being blocked from playing in the League this season at all – in fact, part of the agreement that led to them being allowed to play apparently involved them signing written confirmation that they agreed to the points deduction. If this is the case I reckon that should blow any appeal out of the water. :)

From what I've read, Parry has done a poor job. Though he'd be the lesser of the two evils.

Yeah, he can't be any worse than the current state of the Hicks-Gillette partnership.

If Chelsea win tomorrow and Man U lose they'll be tied on points! The huge goal difference is like an extra point of course, but I'm hoping this race stays tight. I'll be cheering on Arsenal and Chelsea tomorrow.

I can't see them getting their points back. It'll throw the whole League campaign this year up in the air, and there will be appeals from every club above and below them, it'll be very messy and run on for a long long time meaning of course no one can be promoted from this league until it's sorted.

Dirty Leeds scum bags.

what have you got against the hatters?

what have you got against the hatters?

They are local rivals as they are about 15 mins north of watford. Pretty aggressive rivalry and I was once attached by some of their supporters.

I was on my way home from school, about 15-16 years old, and there was a derby. I was passed by a watford fan who was being chased by a couple of Luton fans and I shouted at them but there were two more who were chasing that guy who were behind me, got punched to the ground on the back of the head and kicked in the stomach.

Millwall are another rivalry, however I think most people in re country hate millwall, they have a reputation of being racist and violent.

I watched the Liverpool - Blackburn match and there should've been 3 penalities for Liverpool and at least one sending off (Samba). The decisions are easy to give out on the half way line when you can give a yellow card without it being contentious (Skrtel).

Still though 3-1 decent result giving Liverpool 5 point lead over Everton.

Arsenal are playing Lehmann in goal :confused: I though Wenger still thought he had a chance in the Premiership.

Just heard on the radio that there is some dramatic news from Rafa Benitez to come. I really hope it is not what I fear it is.

Almunia has picked up a wrist injury, apparently.

Hmm... I await the Benitez news with interest.

Almunia with wrist injury > Lehmann, hell Almunia with 1 arm > Lehmann.

Well it turns out that Parry might be behind the talks with Klinsmann and Rafa wants to find out who exactly was invoved with those talks and Rafa is calling a meeting with the entire board "within hours" / "if not today then tomorrow"

Well, that may do it for the title.

Adebayor may have lost the game for Arsenal, he just missed too may chances. Arsenal were also let down by Robin Van Persie, who still looks very rusty. Credit to Lehmann for keeping Arsenal in the game though. United played well, but looked beatable. A penalty to United, a dodgy "hand of God" goal from Ade, and a quality free kick to score the winner at the death (typical United). I was hoping for more goals from open play, but could have gone either way I think, especially if the red-hot Arsenal of a couple months ago had shown up.

Oh, and I'm convinced Wes Brown is crap. Flashes of skill followed by Titus Bramble-like cockups. He's certainly no Vidic.

Almunia with wrist injury > Lehmann, hell Almunia with 1 arm > Lehmann.

Someone at the BBC wrote in that a one-armed Almunia would be better than a Lehmann with four arms. He had a very good game though, to be fair. At his best Lehmann is a world-class keeper, but the problem is you never know which Lehmann will show up...plus he's as old as dirt.

****. It's really turning into a cluster-you-know-what, isn't it?

Mwah! Bring on Millwall, the wankers. I'm going!! Gonna be a long day though, 660 mile round trip.

Last season when they came up here there was loads of trouble and I was stewarding. They we're fighting before they got to the ground, as far as I'm concerned I would have put them back on the train and sent them home again.

:(

What a crappy ending to a season that still looked so great a few weeks ago...

It just seems the really big games are still a bit too big for us.
We must get some silverware next season... come on!!
