Boo. Come on Sheffield!! :p

Sheffield Utd are a bunch on moaners where as Southampton have history in the premiership, so I hope they can keep at least in the Championship.

Ipswich are getting closer to scoring apparently.

I hope Coventry go down.

edit: Watford down to 10 men.

This is so tense.

edit: Watford pull one back. Bloody hell this is so topsy turvy it is silly.

Corrected that for you.

BTW, Palace are demolishing Burnley :)

EDIT : Damn!! Sheffield equalise only for stupid rubbish old Southampton to pull ahead again :(

EDIT2: Southampton down to 10 men!!! :D :D

Promoted: West Brom, Stoke
Play-offs: Hull, Bristol City, Crystal Palace, Watford
Relegated: Leicester, S****horpe, Colchester

Shame Leicester got relegated over Coventry.

Bristol vs Crystal Palace
Hull vs Watford

Based on the last time Hull and Watford meet and our form then it is going to be a very very tough match for Watford to get anything out of.

Ipswich had a perfectly good goal disallowed according to the radio.
It looked perfectly good on the telly, too – we had a spot of luck there.

Ah well... I'm naturally a little disappointed that things couldn't have gone a bit better today, but you can't really be too downhearted about it. We've matched the highest ever league finish in our history (from way back in 1910), and now are potentially two matches away from our first ever visit to Wembley, and potentially three away from our first ever taste of top flight football. Whatever happens over the next few weeks, this season has been a tremendous success – especially when you consider that before the start of the season we were most people's favourites for relegation.

The play-offs now beckon, and we've got Watford who – no offence xUKHCx - would have been most City fan's pick for our opposition given how poor their recent form has been. A very winnable semi-final, in my opinion.

Thing is too, with City in the Championship play-offs, and Carlisle and Stockport in the League One and League Two tussles respectively... we could pull off an unprecedented MacRumors Demi Treble here. Forget Manchester United's 1999 treble, we can make footballing history here! :D

Interesting isn't it? Anyone for nipping down William Hill's and putting £10 on it?

Cardiff appealed to the Welsh FA and got Darren Purse's red over turned, thus meaning he can now play in the FA Cup final (pleased in a way as he was a great player for Birmingham) but they will then take an English place in Europe if the win the FA Cup.

So they are either a member of the FA and should have gone through the FA to appeal the red card or a member of the Football Association of Wales and do not get a place in Europe through the FA Cup.

Welsh FA overturn Purse red card

Sheff Wed 4 - 1 Norwich
9' 0 - 1 Darren Huckerby
23' Deon Burton (pen) 1
53' Ben Sahar 2
76' Deon Burton 3
87' Leon Clarke 4

ssswwwee-eeeet!

`I've just seen that there was a celebratory pitch invasion at Stoke before the final whistle yesterday. I reckon they should be hit with an immediate points deduction – four points should do it. :D ;)

Lol. That'd be harsh.

We got reprimanded by the FA for something along those lines. Almost ****ered ourselves in the process.

When we were in the Conference our 2 legged play off Semi-Final went to Penalties. We were 3-1 down, brought it back to 3-3, Aldershot missed theirs and we had to score to goto the final, well, the numptys ran on the pitch thinking we'd won and Captain Fantastic Danny Livesey still had to score to win it. Thankfully he did.

On the topic of pitch invasions, the tossers ran onto the pitch again after drawing with Bournemouth on Saturday. Of course Bournemouth had been relegated and the Carlisle 'fans' went over to make sure their knew they had. To be honest, I was embarrassed to be a Carlisle United fan. We've been there and know what it feels like yet they still felt the need to berate the fans that had came 400 mile. Also delayed our Lap of Honor and I left before it because I felt awful.

No, they've always been FAW members and as such have always (to the best of my knowledge at least) had stuff like disciplinary issues sorted out by the Welsh FA.

Of course, if I were a cynical man I might suggest that the FAW might be more inclined to overturn the red card, given that it'll mean a key player will be able to play in the final and help them secure a European place from the FA. But I'm not, so I won't. ;)

Heh. They've just shown a feature on Sky Sports news of Stoke City fans queuing up outside the club shop to snap up commemorative shirts, with 'Premier League 08' emblazoned on them in the official Premier League shirt typeface. Thing is, they've used the old typeface that hasn't been used for a year now.

The fools. :D

So we are on the eve of the final day of the premiership. love the fact the title has still to be decided, hating the fact that Birmingham can and most likely will be relegated today. If we do, it will not only mean playing the likes of Blackpool and Swansea it will also cost me a bottle of Single Barrel Jack Daniel's...

However, if the super Mark Lawrenson's predictions are right WE'RE STAYING UP!!!

so if Lawro gets a perfect 10 out of 10, the final table will look like this.

And I'd be one happy bluenose if it does end up like that.
