However, if the super Mark Lawrenson's predictions are right WE'RE STAYING UP!!!
The more I hear Mark Lawrenson talk about football, the less I'm convinced he actually knows about it. If it concerns a club outside the 'big four', he's clueless.

Saying that though, good luck for tomorrow. Hopefully Hull City and Birmingham City will meet next season, and not in the Championship. ;)

As for me, I'm off to Watford tomorrow for our play-off semi-final first leg. All ace, apart from the fact that I'm getting picked up at half five in the morning...

Behaviour like death threats is still totally unnecessary though. Nothing wrong with barracking the guy from the terraces, but threatening him and his family's well-being in this manner is way beyond what's acceptable. Even when we're talking about a Leeds player.

Anyway, that's me and teh shirt™ at the home and away legs of our semi-final, so that's victory all but assured. Sorry, xUKHCx. :D

Well Done Hull! They will take a 2 - nil lead back home. I only saw the second half since I couldn't wake up at 6:30 AM to see the start. The second half sending off of Eustace wasn't a red card in my opinion (and also Chris Kamara as well).

Markleshark, Your match on Monday will be shown live as well, but since it's at 1:30 PM my time, I'll have to tape it and watch when I get home.

P.S. How the hell can we play like we did today and end up getting relegated.

Well, I think I can answer that with an experience I had last week.

After going to Craven Cottage to see the Fulham match I was walking out and I heard a Birmingham fan say: "If we can't even get a shot on goal against them, then we deserve to go down."

If there's something I only came to grasp fully this year it's consistency; before I used to just think that the Champion was by far more talented. That is true of course, but by far the most important thing is playing the same as a team week-in and week-out.

Yawn.

I don't think i'll even bother watching the premiership next season. Its always the same old story. Chelsea scrap their way throughout the season, everyone's biased towards Man Utd, Arsenal never fail to disappoint and Liverpool is...well Liverpool

I can't really comment on the sending off – not only was it quite a distance from where we were sat, but it happened while I'd popped to get some drinks (it was swelteringly hot there, and our seats were outside the shadow of the stand for much of the game.). I was back on the terraces just in time to see the post-offence scuffle, but that was it. From what I've heard from family members who were watching the match it was a bit harsh – as was the decision to disallow Watford's goal. That's the second match in a row we've had an early goal against us disallowed – we've had some bad luck with officials ourselves this season, so I guess at the moment it's our turn to benefit from odd decisions. These things do indeed balance themselves out over time.

Hang on – we might be up there! You don't want to miss us clinching the title next May, do you? :)

Oh, and pivo6 – I'm quite thrilled by the fact we were on USAian telly. Ace. :D

Unless of course your name is Sir Alex Ferguson. Then it's all pretty rosy. ;)

Disappointed that Chelsea didn't win their game, but it was great that the season came down to the last weekend. Hopefully the CL final will be exciting, though I wont hold my breath...

Very curious to see what is going to happen at Liverpool during the off season. Gerrard is vocally frustrated at not fighting for the league title, and we need to clear up the owner situation before anything else. If Hicks and Gillette are still around come August I won't be interested in watching what will be a doomed season. If Benitez has a repeat of this season next time around the Kop might not be so thrilled with him anymore either, although a lot of hardcore scousers seem committed to him, come what may.

I get Setanta Sports on the satellite. They are showing all of the Championship, League One and I think League Two playoff games, including the finals at Wembly.

I watched the Pompey v Fulham match and I feel a bit for the Birmongham supporters. Portsmouth really didn't seem too interested to win. I hope they'll hit the "on" switch for the FA Cup final, otherwise Cardiff will nick it in the end.

A clear reason you won that game.. :p

I'm still crying in to my beer. If (and it's a big if) we can keep Larsson, McFadden, Forssell, Kapo, Murphy, Kelly and Maik Taylor then we'll have a very strong heart to the team and could come straight back up. You never know we may also get some money for the clown that is Liam Ridgewell.

What a combination – Arsenal's state-of-the-art facilities and the sheer magnificence of the Tigers. hopefully the favour will be returned when Watford make the trip up here for the second leg, and they can train at Grimsby or some similar dive.

Meanwhile, Carlisle are 2-0 up against dirty, dirty Leeds United. Their first goal was a joy to behold, a lucky deflection off the backside of an intrepid Cumbrian. The odds against that must have been huge – all those arses in Leeds shirts and it goes in off one in a pair of Carlisle shorts. :D

Leeds 1 - 2 Carlisle.

Chuffed. Gutted that Leeds scored (5 and a half minutes into 4 minutes of stoppage time) but if someone had given me 2-1 at the start of the night I'd have taken it.

Up The Blues!!

Or even worse, Colin Wanker.

[colin]I can't believe all the time the ref added on there four minutes it was supposed to be and then they scored after five and a half but to be honest I wasn't surprised because you could see from the start that the referee had it in for us and I didn't like the way their fans celebrated the goal I thought it was very disrespectful but I suppose to them it's like a cup final to be playing us isn't it and it's probably the biggest game of the season for them and while we're at it that was never a booking either... drone... drone...[/colin]
