Arsenal should sack Wenger immediately... he's done nothing for the club, and they are in free fall.

IMO, I hope Spurs get to 4th place.. Arsenal do not deserve it.

Yeah, I agree... NOTHING for the club.

thats if you dont include numerous premiership titles (once won without losing a game) and other trophies. Alo not including the fact that he has built teams that have played the best, most attractive football that the premier league has ever seen... other than that

nothing.

Just given the league the most sttractive football it has ever seen, and the club a massive amount of success.

And oh, the small decision of turning a young winger into a striker, standing by him when he failed to score in the beginning and then watching him flourish into one of the best in the world – Theirry Henry!

But you were only joking... right?;)

Scum Tottenham. You are scum.

I know this has already been covered but let me re-iterate the point again.

Why should Spurs stop playing if two Arsenal players run into each other? Not to to mention the referee signalled play-on. And that neither Eboue or Gilberto were injured. Eboue clearly tried to gain an advantage by tricking the referee, it failed. Spurs scored. Fair play.

If Eboue hadn't been play acting and started running like a whippet (like he managed 15 seconds post magic sponge treatment, odd that) he might have got back and prevented Davids from passing the ball to Keane.

It's funny to see Gooners moaning about the lacking class after the way their manager acted...

And for those wondering how Arsene would have responded in a similar situation, let me cast your mind back to a similar incident:

Arsenal vs Sheffield United, FA Cup Semi-Final 2003:

(Sheffield) United were unfortunate in the build-up as Arsenal defender Sol Campbell fouled forward Wayne Allison, but referee Graham Poll allowed play to continue and then collided with United's Michael Tonge, allowing the Londoners to break forward.

Arsene's response:

Arsene Wenger said:
"If the referee doesn't give a free kick it's normal to carry on."

Edit: Forgot to add link to article.

It will all end in tears for both Arsenal and Spurs anyway.

Spurs will lose against Bolton and Spurs will win against the Hammers, Arsenal will win two of their last three games and draw one. The points will be tied on 65 each and Arsenal will go through on GD.

Meanwhile in the CL Arsenal will win at home 2-1 and Barca will win at home 1-0 and lift the trophy on the away goal rule.:D

Usually I don't mind Mourhino's arrogance as he's entitled to be but after Liverpool won and for him to say "The best team didn't win today" is just plain idiotic.

Even I'm getting a bit fed up with him now... :(

What was once entertaining is now becoming churlish and unbecoming.

Yes, up until the Liverpool match I quite like his raffish nature. I bet it would be funny to hear him explain how Chelsea lost to his wife and kids.

Mind you, if we all had a Russian billionaire with very dodgy business connections for a boss, we'd probably be making excuses left, right and centre too... :D

Don't mess with the Russians, as Tony Soprano would say.

Yeah Roman's gonna be pissed. Seeing as it was obvious the Premiership was won about 6 months ago it's like they haven't even won it this year, there won't be any real euphoria. Reading between the lines Roman wants a lot more glory, at least the domestic double, and that's gone for another year. If Arsenal did manage to win the CL it would be an hilarious irony as Mourhino has rubbished both Arsenal and Liverpool and to see them both win the CL in consecutive years woud be great stuff.

I wonder if Mourhino will try out his bbc answer on Abromavitch "They beat us in two semi-finals (including the CL) and we beat them in one final so, no I don't think they hold a psychological advantage". At this point Roman will pull out his revolver remove 5 bullets...

Wasn't that the game where Wneger offered them to replay the match in an unprecedented gesture of sportsmanship in football, which they duly accepted.

And lost!

Or was that another game?

That was another game. Still in the FA Cup against the Blades but in 1999 (I think). The ball was kicked out of play by a Sheffield Utd player so an Arsenal player could receive some attention. When the ball was thrown back to Sheffield Utd, Kanu (making his debut) intercepted the pass and centered the ball to Overmars who duly scored to make it 2-1.

Credit to Arsenal who offered to replay the match, which they won. Arsenal then went on to lose to Man Utd in the semis, courtesy of a Giggs wonder goal (with the famous Planet of the Apes celebration) :p

The European Cup final is a single game - it's not played over two legs.

As long as they replace it with a show dedicated to Coca-Cola League 2, I'm happy :)

As for Final Score, I haven't watched that since I started getting Sky Sports News on Freeview. Much better to keep up with the action, then get the rundown straight afterwards.

Careful now – there's still a chance you might be wanting a show concentrating on the Conference next season... ;)

Well, we find out tomorrow evening. I get the impression they'll be a lot of Oxford fans cheering us on too :)

BTW Jaffa Cake, do you 606?

Today's Arsenal also try to gain an unfair advantage by pretending to be injured. Check out this clip from just a couple of months ago:

Since when the feck is eboue and fabregas world class btw!!! Henry is the definition of world class - the other two are good.

It been fairly well gone over by just about every pundit, player, ref, ex ref, ex player and accepted that the play was fair. I fullllllly understand why you are pissed about this, your support makes you instantly on Arsenals side.

the truth is, they bettered you for 65 minutes, doesnt matter if the was poor play or (in this case) poor management, they were still the better side.

You now just have to hope that Wenger's little gamble pays off and you win the champions league r that spurs b0rk the rest of the games.

Cesc IS ****, isn't he.... :p.

Whatever, I am biased - I think it should have been put out of play, lada lada lada..

Back from England, back from my last game at Highbury < SNIRRFF!!! :( >

And, yes I stand up 'cause I hate Tottenham.

I want to forget that incident, and just wonder why Henry couldn't have started the game. Of course I understand the importance of coming Tuesday, but this game was domestically so important, you have to start with the no.1 team...
Tottenham is hard to beat, and we HAD to win to be able to get hold of that all important 4th place.

Let's hope the Spurs do slip up, and we get hold of it on GD....

BTW, I salute you, XIII
