I ordered two one was at 12:16 and the other at 12:24 the one I ordered second is preparing and the first one is processing the first one was a 16gb and the second was a 32. Just to provide an update.
 
Ordered 4:30 am central time from Apple App on the 14th from my phone, 64g black, ATT this morning says prepared for shipment.
 
Curious if any Canadian buyers have the "Preparing for Shipment" status? I ordered right at 3:01am EST and my order is still "Processing". Shipping to Toronto.
 
iPhone 5 preparing for shipment

Just wanted to check on my iPhone 5 and noticed that its preparing for shipment...
Anyone else getting this???

This is exactly what's happening to me.
 
Preparing for shipment ! thank god! ever since someone stole my iphone 4s 64GB, i have been using an LG shine! I'm suffering!
 
I ordered mine approx 3:20 ish Eastern and mine is now preparing for shipment as of this morning!!

Can't wait.
 
im starting to get nervous.

mine is still saying processing. It use to say via standard shipping but now it doesnt. nor does it say holiday shipping. but it still says "delivers 9/21" so i guess theres nothing i can do but cross my fingers
 
Preparing for Shipment, Delivery in 9/21, 32 GB AT&T Black/Slate. Ordered through iOS Apple Store app at 3:20 AM EST.
 
Some of these phones will be shipped from China and some will be shipped internally where that country has stock waiting for delivery already.

I guess we will see which we are when it gets sent - of course if posted internationally it may sneak through before Friday but I wouldn't pin your hopes on it.
 
I could be wrong on this but I think if you order 16gb iPhones, your status doesnt change, only your shipping method. If you get 32/64gb, then you probably have "preparing for shipment status". Maybe its because higher demands on the 16gb iPhones?
 
I'm still in the processing group as well. :\
Ordered at 12:15 pacific / 1:30 GMT. I went with a Verizon 64GB Black & Slate. Those seem to be popular this year.
 
Last night at 10PM ET, order said "Still Processing"

Wake up this morning 6:30AM ET "Preparing for shipment" :D

I was thinking the same thing. Does anyone have a 16GB that says "preparing for shipment?"
