Not sure about DHL, but the info for mine was on the UPS site almost immediately after I got a shipped email from Apple.
 
Right, mine is going back due to the loose trackpad, a new one is on order with an estimated delivery of 21st nov. I have arranged my collection to be on the same day so kind of an advanced replacement!

Gotta love apple support!
 
I'm major pissed off right now. UPS kept my notebook in Germany for 49 hours (!) then they finally move it to the UK this morning and set it as out for delivery, I wait in all day for the package and it didn't come now UPS has updated their tracking just a few minutes before 7PM to say they lost my package in their warehouse and it is now being delivered tomorrow, a day late.

Totally unacceptable, they had ample opportunity to make their deadline having had my package sitting around in Germany for two days and they still miss their own delivery estimate.

Not much you can do, I'm guessing the UPS deal very estimate is probably still ahead of Apples date, correct?

It is yes, Apple quotes 6th - 8th of November. But I'm still annoyed UPS didn't meet their own delivery estimation, also it says it was out for delivery all day, had they said it was never loaded on to the truck to begin with I wouldn't of stayed in all day.

I feel your pain, I hate waiting. And to be teased like that. Sucks.
 
My replacement machine did arrive today and the screen has terrible yellow tinting on the bottom left and right of the display.

So guess whose back again? :(

Apple have promised me someone will look at this machine before I get it to make sure it has no yellow tinting issues but we'll see. Look at that huge wait, 19th to the 21st of November, it's the 7th today. :eek:

Oh well, that is not great. I've ordered my Macbook Pro (same configuration) yesterday. And, according to Apple, I will get mine it a day before yours. I hope they do the testing of the machine with mine too :eek: But the wait is not great. Especially since this is your third machine....

Well, the tracking number from DHL never worked. I called Apple and they told me a way to track via Shipper's Reference.
Laptop has gone from Shanghai to Hong Kong. Delivery still for Sunday Nov. 10.
 
Im back again too, my purchase without thinking BTO has been returned and an off the shelf model has been ordered, i doubt i will notice a 200mhz drop in processor speed for what i use the machine for!

WAS: 2.6/8/256
NOW: 2.4/8/256

Estimated delivery Wednesday 14th... Need to erase the BTO machine and get it boxed back up for UPS to collect on Monday...

Smart move if you want to save some money. I don't think a 0.2 processor bump deserves a BTO, unless you were upgrading the RAM as well.
 
Mine left Mt.Hope, shows departure scan but a scheduled delivery date of Monday still. Have to wait the weekend. :'(

I ordered mine a day before you did (6th, same specs) and I got the dispatch notification this morning. Scheduled delivery for Wednesday 13th... I hope the machine will be fine. I can live with some (small) yellow tint, but would not be happy if I have the creaking noise problem. Fingers crossed for your replacement!

After a couple of calls to Apple for my replacement, I was able to get "fast track" shipping of 1-2 business days vs. "expedited shipping" of 2-3 business days. They told me they would overnight it. Replacement requested on 8th. Should get it by 14th.
 
Mine arrived today, a day early! Didn't know DHL delivers on a Saturday here (equivalent to a Sunday North America/Europe). Pretty cool. Love it so far!

Ouch - mine is at over 24 hrs and counting in Germany. Doesn't sound good for getting it tomorrow.

Mine is currently at the 49 hr mark in Germany, supposed to be in Edinburgh tomorrow! not looking good!

Annoying thing is, it's not even a BTO, just a mid range 13" model. Seems they are all shipping from China now, BTO or not
