Scheduled Delivery:
Friday, 09/21/2012, By End of Day

Ok, who else is upset by this "End of Day" delivery update?

Not gonna lie I am. I was stoked that before it updated to end of day that it is worldwide express so it should be delivered by noon. But now that it says end of day I'm sure it will show up super late.

Me! UPS never delivers early, ever. I am usually waiting for them to arrive till around 6-7pm. I have an 11 week old so its not like I stay up late, I am ready for bed by 830 usually. I was hoping to get it early to have time to play around with it. Of course its not a huge deal, but I just know that they won't even get to me until later in the evening.

Mine says the same thing, but it dosnt mean much. Just means that it can be at any point during the day...

Seriously? This is what you're going to complain about? Isn't it about time that more members here acted like the full-grown adults that they are and stop posting about this trivial ****?

That is the default time frame provided by UPS for all non-expedited shipping.

Honestly, although it's not a big deal, I would have preferred that mine came via Fedex. I always see our Fedex guy in here first thing in the morning. But, really, who cares. As long as I get it before I leave. I can't activate it until I get home anyway. Only problem is I'll be preoccupied with the front door until it arrives.

Mine too has the end of day status. I had my iPhone shipped to my work address so I will be able to sign for it. If it doesnt arrive by 5pm, guess who will be sitting in the parking lot waiting for UPS lol

If it's a business address, I'm pretty sure end-of-day means 3:00PM.

UPS always says that, it doesn't say by noon. Don't worry, you'll get it on Friday!
I need to hold my Black & Slate iPhone NOW

I chatted with UPS online and they said even though mine says 'delivery by end of day', since my area has 'early delivery' available, it will be delivered by 10:30AM. She said to not worry about the 'end of day'.

FYI I am having it delivered to my work..

Ahhh! These possibly late delivery times have me worried. I have work at 4:45 on Friday, though I could show up at 5:30 if I really wanted to, and I'm not sure if someone will be home after that. Maybe I'll get one of my friends to hang out at my house until it arrives or take off work. Hahaha.

Mine does say APPROXIMATE delivery time of 10:45-2:45. I wish that it would come closer to, if not earlier than, 10:45, but I am not holding my breath. I won't even think more about the delivery time until it gets past Preparing for Shipping and it moves out of Nashville.

Same here. I hate UPS with a utter passion. I am literally their last stop before end of work. They stop delivery at 7 PM (for the most part) and I usually get it at that time. Fedex, on the other hand, delivers at about 9 AM.

Those of you reporting exact time ranges and those with the "end of the day" quote, where do you all live? Maybe that would be a variable as well.

So do you guys have tracking numbers?

Does your order show "shipped" from apple.com?

Go to UPS.com, select "Track by Reference", put in your phone number used when you ordered (no apaces or dashes) and your order should come up if it's going by UPS. Not sure how you do Fedex. Apple is a little lax in updating the order statuses. (can't really blame them)

"By End of Day" would mean anywhere from the first delivery of the day to the last one. I fail to see the issue here. They've got eleventy deliveries to make that day. Everybody can't be near the top of the list.

Wow this thread sounds its the last piece of bread left on the earth and that it's a matter of survival if it's not there at a certain time . Calm down people this is worse than watching seagulls fighting over greasy fries by the water.
