I had mine diverted to the UPS Hub near me and picked it up there. There was a line of people doing the same. Also picked up NBA 2k21 Mamba Forever Edition. It hurts to pay that much for a sports game I know will be on sale for $30 in a few weeks but I had to do it as Kobe fan

I've searched high and low on the Internet for the answer—maybe someone here can help me:

I know the Pulse 3D headset can be plugged in via USB to Switch and used that way...

But does the microphone work for games with in-game voice chat like Fortnite?

It's normally quiet, but I've noticed the fan kick in a couple of times (bear in mind that we're heading into summer here).
True! I haven't had time to put in a long gaming session. Still looking forward to it not sounding like a jet is about to take off.

Forgot to mention the day one patch wasn't big at all.

It was also nice that I could play Astro while my PS4 data was being migrated.

Astros playroom is wild. If you have PS+ don’t forget to get Bugsnax for free.

When the controller demo started at the beginning of the Astro game I realized that for the first time since I can remember, I was sitting there with a huge grin on my face because of how amazing the demo was. I think the last time I had that much fun I was playing the SNES. It's also very cool that just by having a PS+ subscription you effectively get 20 or so games out of the box with the PS+ collection.

Had the exact same reaction. Combined with the controller it is SO good.

I handed the DualSense to my wife at the start of Astro's Playroom, and she's not a gamer but she had a hard time putting it down. I'm really impressed with the different sensations it gives, especially those spring jumps!

If you have a CX I fully understand why you would want to wait. When I upgrade my TV i will probably buy an OLED that I would put in the office/gaming den.

We have a LG OLED in our living room, and one in our bedroom. Our 2 guest bedrooms and my game room all have LED TV's, so last week I bought the new Vizio 65 inch OLED (Best Buy had it on sale for $1500 down from $1999 for a weekend) so I bought it. It uses the LG OLED Panel (As does Sony's OLED) and I will say this TV hooked to my One X and now the PS5 is awesome. It has 2 HDMI 2.1 Ports and is 120hz.

Played Miles Morales and Astros Playroom yesterday for a couple hours. The new Dualsense meets all the hype. The rest of the console doesn't even "feel" next gen to me. The controller makes it.

Brings tears to my eyes!

"All told then, job done: PlayStation 5 is larger than Xbox Series X, but it is also cooler. The key point is that the days of jet engine acoustics emanating from your Sony console are a thing of the past."

LOL I remember that from when I got my first PC CD Drive

My PS5 just delivered, I have it all set up and installed the updates, so once my lunch break hits I am going to Play Astro!! I cant wait!!

Is that the free PS PLus game for this month?

No, Astro comes on every PS5. The free PS+ game this month is Bugsnax, which is also highly rated, but more aimed at kids. You also get Shadow of Mordor and Hollow Knight as the PS4 games this month. Plus the 20 PS4 games in the PS+ collection.

I know what you mean. The graphical leap between generations is small in large part because of games that don't take advantage of the hardware due to last gen compatibility. Going from the NES to SNES was huge. SNES to Playstation or N64 was mind blowing. PS1 to PS2 or Xbox was crazy. PS2 or Xbox to Xbox 360/PS3 was incredible, if only for the HD factor and mature online play. PS4 and Xbox One were barely more powerful than the consoles that preceded them and it showed.

We are in a similar situation now where unless you have a cutting edge TV with high frame rates and 4k (I don't...) and know what to look for you'd have trouble telling the difference between Spiderman on PS4 vs PS5. We haven't seen games that use direct storage yet (like the Unreal demo) so the benefit of the SSD is just faster load times, which is cool, but not mind blowing if you've used a newer computer.

That's what makes the DualSense so exciting... it's a whole new level of interaction we had only seen hinted at with the Xbox One's haptic triggers. I can't wait to see what developers do with this.

Does the ps5 support media playback to function like an entertainment center? Like mp3, mp4 locally on a usb drive?

Cheers
