yeah, Forspoken is looking promising, but I'm a bit sceptic... It's on my list "buy when discounted", unless al reviews are unanimous and say it's an awesome game. (gamer reviews that is)
If I recall correctly, they’re working on another title totally different from TLOU. But given N.D. is almost identical to Rockstar in terms of gaming releases, I wouldn’t expect anything earlier than 2024. And that’s being lenient, given they are notorious for delaying titles well past the initial release date.
I'm rooting for a new Uncharted game, absolutely loved the whole series.

I’ve played them all, but my backlog is too big to play them again remastered for PS5. Horizon Forbidden West is already coming in februari, and I want to play the first game again since I forgot a lot of the story. Maybe when they release a new Uncharted game that continues the story, I’ll replay them all again remastered. Without a doubt, if that were to happen, the remasters will be discounted.
It’s freakin’ cold here Blankstar. Which means for this time of year, I don’t want to be outside when it’s 10° and this is the time to play catch up on the backlog before the new titles release.
Horizon looks great, but I agree, I’ll probably have to play the first one again, as it’s been years for more storyline elements to tie into the second version.
Finally managed to get a PS5. Been playing Returnal and Demon's Souls remake which are both excellent. My days of hunting for one of these bastards in time to have it setup for Elden Ring is over thankfully.
At the moment I still do not have a PS5 and I think I might just wait for PS5 Slim. The PS5 is still near impossible to get here. This is ok for me as all the games I want coming soon are all PS4 only (as in with PS5 update patches but no separate physical PS5 release).
I just wish there was more PS5 exclusives that are really worth getting. Sure some of them are nice but not $750 (in my country) nice.

To be fair I don't remember any "must buys" for me in the first year of the PS4. It takes time for exclusives to be developed.

Yes it does take time. However that time can be pre or post launch. For the PS4 it just ended up being all post launch.
If Sony really wanted console selling exclusives in the first year, they would have pushed their partner studios to get the job done.

Well, it's not like they would sell any more PS5's if they had more good games out. Supply still has to catch up with demand, as it is.

Anyone else enjoying the Uncharted Collection? I saw a review saying the performance mode saying it's the way to play but the game looks too good in fidelity mode. I'm playing it on a 1440p monitor capable of 144hz, and performance mode will play the game on a steady 120fps. I'm keeping it on fidelity with 30fps 😆. It's not terrible after you adjust to it for a few minutes.
I originally meant Performance+ mode which gives you 120fps. Performance mode is in between at 60fps.

Alive and kicking! Finished Fenyx Rising and Horizon Zero Dawn for a second time, so I’d fill in the blanks I already forgot, and since I finished early, I’m going for the platinum trophy, only two more to go. Can’t wait for Forbidden West!!
