Nifty little trick that somebody mentioned to me today.

So, if you purchase a PS5 bundle from GameStop [This Can actually also apply to an XSX bundle], but you didn’t like the specific games that was included, you can actually return both games that were included in the bundle with the console for a full MSRP refund to a gift card and/or your debit/credit balance.

So essentially you win either way, by buying a console that you want, and now you can spend the money on other games in the future or available titles they have on shelf.

The caveat being, if you remove the shrink wrap from the game or if it’s even partially torn, their policy is that they cannot accept the return by any means whatsoever.

This is one of the many reasons I stopped buying from Gamestop more than 5 yrs ago. They have the nerve to reject a game you broke open but they have NO problems selling you a game they themselves opened, one of their employees took home to play and then sell it as new. I know this first hand because a friend of mine used to be a Gamestop mgr at a store.

I'm just so afraid to remove the side panel... So afraid I'll break something...
Don’t do it. Not now. I mean, of course, unless it’s absolutely necessary that you feel the need to upgrade the SSD. Heck, I won’t even move the PS5 or the XSX when I’m dusting. 😁

I want to get an SSD, but on the other hand I'm trying to postpone as long as possible which means more SSD for my money since prices tend to drop over time for new tech.
I'm definitely going to wait until next year when prices are lower. I don't typically need to have a lot of games installed at one time so maybe not even then.

In the same league as an SSD upgrade: does anyone here have custom panels fitted? Saw a website last week that sells black ones, and I must admit that a black PS5 looks really nice...

*edit*
Found the website again: https://dbrand.com/shop/special-edition/ps5
That’s a great company. They’ve been around forever, and are hugely involved with Apple product customization. Their skins/cases and protectors are pretty much unmatched.

It’s a console , upgrading it should be plug and play , all the consoles ive ever had I never had to use screwdrivers and taking panels off to upgrade anything . utterly ridiculous.

I'll get it , its fairly cheap and tbh my ps5 is full of old ps4 games , not massively impressed with any of the new games for the ps5 plus they cost a daft amount

That’s more like it !

500 gigs free ssd space for fifty quid and plug n play vs all that kerfuffle of installing additional ssd , not to mention the ridiculous prices the things are going for !

Highly recommended

Any ideas when Spider-Man will be included in Playstation Hits? It should by now. I hope before the year ends.

Also waiting on this for Days Gone.
