Several days ago, I got a hold of a PS5 Disc version Horizon West bundle for MSRP price from Gamestop. Was lucky enough to look at a Slickdeals notification at 6am. Controller battery life is my only gripe so far. I might purchase a battery pack.

Is CD Keys legit.

thanks

Yup, they are legit. Purchased plenty of game and software codes from them.

I am still astonished by how many people are still only getting ps5. At release, I was able to get 3 disc within a month. All together, I purchased about a dozen, but I haven’t even looked/tried within the last year because no one I knew really needed.

You are one of the lucky ones. Millions of people around the world haven't had the opportunity to purchase a PS5.
  • Due to no in person purchase options in their local area
  • Website pre-orders selling out in seconds
  • Websites crashing due to pre-order traffic
  • Scalper markups which many people are refusing to pay
  • Reailers only having bundle options at times - people refusing to buy other junk just to own a PS5
I personally an still in the market for a PS5 as I have not been able to get one, for all of the above mentioned reasons. However I can admit that there is only one, or two exclusives I want and I am not sure paying over $500 for a console just to play a couple of games. So I will wait, till console availability returns to normal sane levels and a couple more exclusive games I want are released.

This is why PS4 ports of new games are still a thing. Also the rumour is the PS5 generation will be lengthened because of this too. Need more people (ie gamers, not scalpers) actually owning a PS5 before the generation can get into full swing, as well as more exclusive games people want.

Guys, is there a way to change the home screen?
The screen that appears loads in the beginning, where you select your games?
I'd love to have a nicer grid view of my games, and NOT have the progress/trophies box appear.
I really hate the trophies stuff. I just want to enjoy my game, not be told how many bronze/silver/gold cups I got of things I don't even know what are or know how far I have reached in the game.

Nope.

Every console release Sony does something annoying with the home screen (I miss XMB terribly if it wasn't obvious, lol).

Classic example of why I purchase disc versions of games.

Purchased Horizon Zero Dawn and played it though so I could catch up on the hype around Forbidden West.
Played and sold the game on. Found it just OK - not a keeper.

Purchased Forbidden West, played it for a week or so and didn't really enjoy it - hence just sold it on.

Purchased Ghost of Tsushima instead, which I'm enjoying much more!

Had it of been online purchases I would have been stuck with games I probably would never have revisited!
I will always continue to buy disc versions of all my games!

The Last of Us Part I.

Now there is a game that did not need another remaster.

A year and a half into the new gen, and still not even a teaser for a new Naughty Dog game.

Even though 2022 is a garbage year for gaming, (especially with the E3 conference being canceled), again. Ultimately I probably would pick up TLOU remaster for the PS5 (After my initial gameplay on the PS4), simply because it really was perfected from the beginning. Rockstar is also known for the same execution for remasters, because they are such popular games, and why not make more money on the same title twice. So I give these developers credit on capitalizing, especially when you know Naughty Dog is working on another project that’s been unannounced.

All I know is, that my PS5 and XSX is hardly even tapping the potential of what these consoles are capable of, and I’m hoping 2023 will push those limits with more titles. Just sayin’.

Naughty Dog can do whatever they want as far as I’m concerned and I’ll buy it. They are untouchable status within PlayStation. Everything they make is gold

And it’s more than a remaster. It’s a ground up rebuild using TLOU2 gameplay mechanics. What Rockstar did to GTAV is a remaster.

Can’t wait to play TLOU with TLOU2 gameplay, and can’t wait to play whatever else they’re working on. We already know about TLOU multiplayer.

I impulse bought this on sale yesterday. 825gb just wasn’t cutting it as we all knew it wouldn’t. Best price I’ve seen for 2TB. Not sure how long the sale lasts.

I am finding that Horizon is kind of turning into a slog for me. Really loved the first one, but the sequel just feels like more of the same. I’ll finish it but I don’t think I’m gonna platinum it like I did with the first one.

Agreed that I wish there was more to look forward to this year.

I've been using the same drive for several months now - no issues at all ;)

Druckman said he is working on a new project but it will be some time off before anything is revealed, so it’s literally very early stages I’d imagine. Sounded like a new IP though, but not for a few years. I’d like a new Uncharted game but it doesn’t seem to be on the board at present?

The only thing saving gaming this year on both Xbox and PlayStation are the big AAA third party titles. Atomic Heart if it launches this year, COD MW2, The Callisto Protocol. Very dry otherwise, I guess if your into it Ragnarock if it launches this year.

I came across a really good article yesterday on my iPad regarding CDKeys.com but I didn't Bookmark it, my bad. I was wrong regarding their location, they are not based out of the Netherlands, instead they are based in the United Arab Emirates, Dubai. They buy their keys from regional areas, usually third world countries in the thousands at super low prices and resell them at a markup which means the gamer saves a ton of money and they make a killing. The keys are almost guaranteed to work as the keys are almost always legit.

The game I purchased the other day is crap and I kind of knew that based on Steam reviews and impressions but the $11.99 price was too tempting. I just found out they have a 14 day refund policy so I just opened a ticket and requested a refund like you do with Steam. I'm not expecting a refund but if I do I will post an update.

Edit: They responded within 15 minutes (very impressed) and said they only offer refunds for keys that don't activate or are blocked. So no soup for you.

I found the article about CDKeys.com and supposedly they have been in business for 30 yrs.

ive used them for many years. only really for 3 things.

PS gift cards as i mentioned above, as i have a uk account but no longer a uk bank.
Older pc games, stuff like fallout and things, you get there for like 3 euros.

and on principle, every year, Football Manager. directly through steam the euro price is always about 50% higher than the uk price, and any time you complain about this on their forums it gets deleted, so i buy from cd keys and that works perfectly. get a key within a minute and never had a problem adding that key to steam.

Well I upgraded to PS Plus Extra and now have more games than I’ll ever have time to play. Returnal and Demon’s Souls are first up. Always wanted to try PGA 2K21 too but didn’t want to buy it. Makes this boring 2022 for gaming a little better for me.

I’ll consider PS Plus Premium when/if cloud streaming becomes available in Mac or iOS.

Was kinda bummed it'll be sold at premium price. Will buy and play it, but maybe during the holiday sales or summer sales 2023 when it's at a big discount.
