That is great news! And yes, literally the last game that would have ever made me consider an XBox.
It’s the main reason why I categorically couldn’t consider selling my Xbox. With GTA coming out next year, I might sell my Xbox Series X and replace it with a PS5 Pro. However play anywhere is important for me. Some games, I would rather not have to buy them twice e.g pc and play station. That is great news! I think the PC could be seen as a viable competitor.Microsoft is going down the path Sega took years ago. Just let go of the hardware and focus only on the games. I remember seeing Sonic for the first time on the PlayStation, was a surreal moment. Now all these Xbox titles are coming over and it sure feels like history repeating. And while I've only had the original big fat Xbox, I've had every PlayStation (except for the PS3, was an era where I didn't game anymore) and currently rock a PS5 Pro and I hate to see the Xbox go. One simple reason: competition. Nintendo is in a different segment of the market and can co-exist easily next to Sony, but if the Xbox is abandoned, Sony won't have anyone anymore to compete. They'll be able to start squeezing even harder and try to get that last penny out of our pockets and we'd have nothing against them but stop playing games we'd all love to play... The customer always loses when there's no competition.
And rumors are Sony are working on a Switch 2 competitor... Sure hope Nintendo will be able to keep on going with their exclusives, because a powerful portable PlayStation... The "shut up and take my money" meme comes to mind.

I don't believe that. Rockstar is spending a fortune on developing the game. PC gamers expect having to double dip. Furthermore maintaining a game on multiple platforms is not cheap. Infact, Online and single player are two different games in their own rights and will need to be resourced accordingly. There are rumours and icons appearing in the shop showing titles that suggest you can buy it on the PS5 and get the PC version free or vice versa.
There is plenty of articles and videos about it doing the rounds, it would make sense for them to have their own PC store and do something similar to MS with play anywhere.I don't believe that. I don’t know about the PS Portal, but under the same WiFi, the PS Remote Play app has always worked quite well in my iPad. Maybe not at full HD resolution… but because of the small size of my 11” iPad Pro and the high pixel density of it, it looks quite good. No complaints, although even possible, I play on my 4K mini LED 27” monitor. Also, on the Portal, how would you compare the streaming performance from the PS5 over the internet versus cloud streaming?
Also also, has anyone compared the performance of the remote app on iPad vs remote PS5 play on the Portal?
In short, I would like to access and play my PS5 games while I am on vacation. I have an 11" M1 iPad Pro with the remote app that I can pair with a PS5 controller. Are there any benefits in buying the Portal for this purpose? Is the streaming performance different in any significant way?
Earlier this year I saw a comparison where PS remote playironically outperformed Xbox cloud streaming.I don’t know about the PS Portal, but under the same WiFi, the PS Remote Play app has always worked quite well in my iPad. The biggest selling point of using the Portal over the iPad is convinence and that it's 100% optimised for gaming. It's worth taking a punt on as a used Portal only cost twice the price of a used controller. If you don't like it, you can easily resell it.Also, on the Portal, how would you compare the streaming performance from the PS5 over the internet versus cloud streaming?

There are three kinds of streamable games;I upgraded to Plus Premium for a month to test the cloud streaming on my PS5.
I am still a little confused as what games are available. When I do a search on playstation.com, it shows Forza Horizon 5 as a streamable game. But on my PS5 last night, I couldn't find it to stream. What gives? Is it available, and I am just not looking in the right place?
