how did you guys feel about State of Play presentation?

Excited for new Castlevania, can't believe we are getting one. new Silent Hill game looked very intriguing too. No new Gravity Rush sadly, but Control 2 seems to have gravity gameplay, guess I finally found a push for me to play the first game

Also might cave in and get the MGS collections , I hope they leave the MGS4 installation screen in haha

I am excited about the John Wick game. Not quite sure how I feel about the GoW Trilogy remake yet.

Still making my way through the trailers. I am SO ready to replay the beginning of GoW2 in a remake.

I liked the MGS volume 2. Never ever played the 4 and man, I have some good memories about Peace Walker on PSP (played that game insanely). Maybe it is a good moment to get the Volume 1 and wait for Volume 2, both on sale for sure.

GoW remakes sounds interesting. I played only the one of PSP (we had an Xbox, never a Play 2/3) and the first one of the reboots. I hope they made a good job as Capcom with the RE Remakes.

yeah that opening was absolutely breathtaking, can't believe it was a ps2 game.

I remember my jaw dropping.

If you don't mind cut scenes 4 is fun!

I love the PSP games so much. I should dig out my Vita and replay Chains of Olympus to reminisce, what a game.

Sony Reportedly Plans to Stop Releasing Its Biggest PS5 Exclusives for PC

I'm seeing various reports that Sony has largely pulled back its initiative to release its exclusives onto steam.

You can make a case, that this was a misstep by sony originally, as it weakened the console. There was less of a need to have the console and just waited for the PC release.
I'm pretty sure this is a reaction to the next xbox being able to play PC games and them not "wanting their single player games brand diluted". From what I have read, live service games will still be multi-platform.

I'd say the leadership changes were also another factor, Jim Ryan was heavily pushing for this, and now that he's not there, things were resetting with another perspective.

Call me oldschool, but I prefer consoles having exclusives. It makes things more interesting. The ones whining the most are PC gamers, but I don't really care about their tears, them arrogant bast*rds. 😉

Having each console have their own vibe and fanbase makes for better competition and hopefully better innovation.

I hope Helldivers has a cross save feature. I played on PC and got a good progress but really enjoy playing the game on the PS5 but my progress there is much way behind.

I recently played Returnal. The graphics are really good and the dual sense haptics are insane. The problem is that this game is a souls like (more or less). And I'm really really bad with souls like

This will only partly be due to Microsofts plans, really this will have been planned before they got rid of Ryan, they are sensibly going back to the Exclusive game plus they weren't making much money out of PC sales anyway. Fine by me. Also announced is South Of Midnight out on PS5 March 31st, I have been looking forward to this one.

Personally, I prefer to play on my PS5 than my PC. I got enough of a desk after my work to keep using it to play.

As the other post here in the gaming section, consoles aren't done. They will sell insanely with GTA 6 release and also, million of people's use them.

I was referring to Sony keeping their exclusives on PS5 and not releasing the games on PC.

I really like my PS5, even thinking about getting a Pro but nah, just too expensive right now
Yes. PS5 is worth owning. There are exclusives but also a good back catalogue of PS4 titles that you might not have played. I will personally buy a PS5 Pro later this year. PSSR makes it worth while for squeezing out a bit more performance out of the hardware.

Yes yes, I got a loooot of games waiting to play.

About PSSR, the implementation in RE9 was insane, praised by Digital Foundry. Probably get the Pro later, yeah

Oh yes, 100% me also. I'm done with PC gaming. But I also have a friend that says he would never buy a PS5 because he can eventually get the big games I get on PC.

Yeah and it makes sense to wait for it. Let's see what happens with this new approach from Sony.
