Honestly the button thing is my only issue with the supcase. They are extremely soft which for some may be good but since they aren't completely separated (volume up and down) it just fees a bit odd. It fees a bit slimmer on the sides compared to the presidio though which is nice though especially with the clear back to show up the color. The lip is raised on the front just like the speck for drop protection. I personally just like the way the grip portion of the speck feels in hand.

I wonder if the better pocket-ability is a symptom of the case being physically smaller due to the redesign? I guess we could also count the number of grip lines on the old CandyShell Grip versus the Presidio Grip. And the orientation of the grip lines in the redesign might also play into it.

No, the grips are just not as sticky as before. Go to BB and check them out for yourself.

Tried this case out at Best Buy. Love the grip it provides. Much slimmer than it appears in pictures. I liked it and I was tempted to buy it but I can't decide if I $44.95 like it. That's a spendy case.

I figure that I need a case and a great one will cost about $25 or so, so the extra cost is really about $20 for this one.

I can live w that.
 
I just tried using the speck clear Presidio case for my 6s+ (soon to be 7+) and have come back to the black grip one.

The grip is so functional and so good to have compared to the slippery clear one.
 
I think I'm sold on this case with the save10 code, free shipping and 2.5% ebates cash back. Now I can't decide between straight black or graphite grey for my matte black plus.

Go to Best Buy to see both in person.

Speck FINALLY listened and created a black on black grip case. That's the one I use.

Don't ask me. I bought both of those in the Grip Presidio.
 
Unfortunately the two best buy's near me, and the targets near me only carry the black, purple and white currently. I've yet to see the grey in person. Anyone have one and some pics with the grey on the black phone?

I've seen the gray at my BB. It isn't anything spectacular.
 
The wife got the speck presidio clear glitter version and it is really nice. Not over priced either cause Best Buy matched my employee discount of 35% off at Verizon. Got it for 25ish.

Just pulled the trigger on a black one Save10, free shipping, 2.5% ebates cash back. Too much to pass up! I was debating between this and the UAG plasma, but after trying the UAG today, it's just too big. Their cases were getting smaller, but the new iPhone 7 plus version is massive.
 
I just got this today (bought with the discount code + free shipping). It's fantastic. I always ended up returning Candyshell cases and going with an Apple case but this one is very well done. The Black on black look is great and having everything covered with the protection and grip is worth being ever so slightly more bulky than an Apple or Silicone case.

Thumbs up.

I'm personally a fan of the case and believe in getting what you pay for. $40 is worth it with the construction of this case, especially if you're going to spend $50 for an apple leather case that doesn't even have drop protection.

The case is well made sturdy and looks Damn good. Only other case that competes that I've seen is the Supcase

I'm interested in the supcase. How's the lip on the front? I prefer a rather raised lip to accommodate possible screen protectors. It's why I love my diztronic voyeur so much.
