The SS Apple Watch Leather Loop update thread

I had a support chat with an apple rep. He wouldn't budge on anything and he said "Im sure there have been leather loops that have shipped"

Seems they don't know either. If i had known about the issues i would have gone with the Milanese loop

I do think that they should of done the in store try ons a few days before preorders. Doing them at the same time seems lame.

Sick of seeing processing :(
 
Considering that I ordered an extra blue leather loop (large) and it was delivery in May straight of the bat I doubt they even had them for launch.

Pretty poor if you ask me.

And if you order them separately now. The large one is May as well and the medium one June.

So good luck to everybody.
As it stands I have a charger already. My loop comes earlier than my both watches.

Feels like Lego to me.
 
I wonder if the Leather Loop is one of the more unpopular models, and that's why Apple hasn't prioritised them?

My friends watch with the Milanese Loop has just arrived, i'm really happy for him! ha /s

Please leave the apple support reps alone if you are in a window that did not start today. I am embarrassed for you.
 
It's amazing really. I just phoned Dover Street Market who confirmed that they had received some Leather Loop Watches, but they couldn't confirm how many. They took phone bookings for reservations, and they had all been sold now.

So, on that basis, how could Apple say that the quickest method to get your hands on one was online? I ordered mine within the first 10 minutes and like many others have a 4-6 weeks date, yet Joe Bloggs comes along and picks one up today.

I cannot understand the logic or how that is fair or reasonable?
 
Apple prolly had plenty of people who knew it wouldn't be ready. Mistakes happen when you try to be uniform in this game. Happy 4/24 or in our case happy 5/15!

I tried to get an appointment as soon as I could but the earliest I could get at my nearest Apple Store was on the 18th. I don't think the Milanese Loop was right for me though and it didn't suit my skin tone at all. Admittedly it does look great on the right person though. The Blue Leather Loop looked much better on me so I went with it as I didn't like the Classic Buckle so much.

So am I, although I never expected mine to turn up before mid-May if I'm honest. Hopefully it shows up as soon as possible.

In the end it's all about whichever Apple Watch suits you; it's a personal device and should be personalised exactly to your taste if you're wearing it every day (as I intend to).

No point ordering a Watch which you don't think is right for you for the sake of a few weeks' worth of inventory-stocking time.

It will get here soon! :D

Pending credit card charges but no change in order status

I've been away with work for a couple of days and just checked my credit card status (AMEX).

I ordered a 42mm SS, brown leather loop at 8.03am (GMT) on 10/4 and an additional charger on 18th April.

The pending charge for the watch is showing on my card as being present since the 22nd April but still shows as processing on the order page. Interestingly, my additional charger changed to preparing for shipment yesterday and the pending charge appeared yesterday.

Anyone else in the same situation?
 
I just want my watch or signs it's coming like a charge or status update...yes I know it's delayed but come on people who ordered in the past few days are getting theirs...I want mine worst Xmas in April ever!!

I have been reading the "Show off your apple watch" thread and it really does just seem like the only models people are getting are mainly classic leather bands, Sport bands and the Milanese loop. Even people ordering the last few days are getting these models. I'm happy to wait for my leather loop :) they are pretty!

My opinion too. Having tried them all I much prefer the Leather Loop! It'll be more than worth the wait! :)

Agree with others from what I have seen no leather loops delivered today. But very happy with my order choice it ... the leather loop was fantastic when I tried it on in store.

Same here, but when placing the order online at launch the Mianese loop didn't have the 4/24 shipping window. I ordered the 42 SS BCB because it had the 4/24 shipping window. I would have ordered the Milanese if I had known it would have showed up. Super lame!!
