I was originally going to order the stainless with blue leather loop but having seen the rumours a few days before launch that the leather loop might have a longer lead time, and when the store came back up and it appeared to confirm it, I opted to go for a sport and purchase the leather loop separately. Got the sport yesterday but the leather loop order is just sat at processing. Been a bit of a lottery this!

That was my strategy and I knew I'd want a sport band too. Unfotunately, I got cold feet about the blue leather loop so I ordered a black one instead. That comes in 2-4 weeks but the blue one I ordered is sometime in May...
Same here, fingers crossed for early next week, still a bit doubtful but nonetheless optimistic!I think Sunday is a no go, but I'm hopeful for Monday!

Hmm, that's unusual.
I tried one on in the Apple Store but other than that I've yet to see a Blue Leather Loop out in the open.
I think he got the Black leather loop separately from the watch as an extra band .
Hello everyone. So today I ordered a back up 42mm SS White sports band. I ordered it at around 9:30 am. It was confirmed at that time and it has a shipping date of June. This afternoon it's already been charged to my account and is shipping! My leather loop SS 42mm bone leather loop was still processing! So I just cancelled it, and ordered a medium leather loop. Which only has a 2 weeks waiting period

I would have wrapped the watch around my arm using an old sock.
Now I have to wait because of this leather loop.

Where are you located? When is it scheduled for delivery?
You are the first person to talk about their guaranteed 4/24 delivery date of a leather loop watch. As far as I saw, the store had 5/13-5/27 from the get go. I don't know how apple could've been more clear.
I'm located in Canberra, Australia. I was accidentally looking at the large loop! Which would be ok for my wrist also but just to be safe still stuck with the medium. The large in the Australia store has a 2 week delivery, and the medium just said May... So could be delivered soon also I guess
Apple also has June on many watches that have already shipped. Apple has done a poor job with parts if this launch.
I always wanted the SS with brown leather loop. I thought the brown wouldn't look so harsh on the wrist, as compared to a black band. When I ordered, I saw the lead time for the loop version was insane, so I went for the black classic buckle instead and ordered the brown leather loop seperately.
I really like the classic buckle, but excited to get the brown loop because I think it will look a bit more relaxed overall. I've always really liked a nice, brown leather as it seems to fit my clothing style better than a dark black leather.
Anyway, if I am lucky I might get my loop this week. I had a 4/24-5/8 shipping window for my watch, but ended up getting it on 4/24. Hopefully the same for the loops which starts at 4/28 (see screenshot, sorry that it's in German).
