Yeah but I don't know anyone who works for O2...

You don't need someone from 02. 150 companies are included... Carphone warehouse, Llyods Tsb, network rail and 147 others (dont have the list of this but they're well known companies). Best to ask friends/family whom work for these companies to check for you.

Orange had said in an email that they would be offering iPhone pre-orders from tommorow online.
'We’ll be in touch again on Tuesday 15 June to tell you how you can reserve your iPhone 4. So keep your eyes peeled. '
Well pretty much so anyway :p
Whether that will be the case anymore after what people have been saying, I just don't know!!

I need to know more companies and work from there

Yeah and mine isn't one of them...

It's £125 off the handset price now rather than the 30% tariff reduction. I have the 30% tariff discount on my plan, so can't really change to another network. Best for me to upgrade online too in case someone tries to remove it.

I use loads of data, but I use hardly any calls and texts. This month so far I've used 9 mins and 34 texts. So I can go for the cheapest option regarding calls and texts, I just need unlimited data or a realistic cap. At the moment, assuming leaks are true, Orange is winning for me despite the really expensive handset prices.

I'm in the same position. Somebody earlier on mentioned T-Mobile's internet booster http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/services/payg/boosters/ there's a 6 month deal for £20 with a 1GB per month cap, that's if they offer it for the iPhone of course.

It's not even a flat £125, it depends on the amount of the contract. And it's cashback, not a discount.

And the 3GS (and only the 3GS) was exempt from Open last year until six months after launch. The same is likely this year.

Google is your best friend :D

I used to work at McDonalds a few years back and it was 30% then but iPhone was included, then 3 weeks after I got my 3G it was added.. and I cant log into the Our Lounge section anymore. Gutted. I still have pay slips too haha

My friend also just left Currys aswell which I'm gutted about but thats life I guess... If its only a discount on the handset now, I'm not that interested, prefer it off the tariff which my friend at Vodafone can get me.

I certainly hope not as no one in their right mind would potentially pay £100+ more for the phone than another network.

Also not sure if it is me but on that leaked screenshot at the bottom the 32gb is cheaper than the 16gb??

Think they must have seen the leaked Vodafone prices and realised they won't sell any unless they rethink their prices!!

I think they are fake, simple as it's too expensive, Apples trend has to get it cheaper and cheaper every year why make it
more expensive, also keep the prices the same in America

price increased in UK last year, likely will again this year, pound is weaker against dollar, which is what they deal in.

Just sold my iPhone! Only put it on eBay at 8pm.

16GB 3GS. Got £319. Not bad. Better than the £240 O2 Recycle offered.

thats a decent price for now, i sold my mates for him and got £310, but when i sold my 16gb 3gs about a month back i got £420 :) but ive been using my old samsung D500 for the last month :(

I also heard somewhere that Jobs had said that the new iPhone due to reduction in costs would not only be better but also cheaper. Either it hasn't changed due to current climate changes or the Phone companies are raping our wallets and maximising there profits.
(again another busines like for like) Just like when the bank of England cut the costs of the intrest rates for banks, but some banks never passed these savings on to companies.......i smell GREED!!

Well the £319 I got was a Buy-it-Now. Given that it was only up for two hours, I think I could have held out for more now!

My mum has a spare 8GB 3G I can use for the next couple of weeks but she's on holiday at the moment so I'll be looking in my 'mobile phone drawer!'
