One of my mate from work is buying my jailbroken white 16gb 3G iPhone for £250 as soon as i get my new iPhone.
Not sure if this is a good price or not but saves me messing around with Nigerian scammers on eBay or loosing on fees
Yeah, is fair enough.
I put all the protection settings up to maximum - require immediate PayPal payment, ship to UK based buyers only, etc. Looks like the guy who's mine is genuine and he's already paid.
After eBay and PayPal fees I'll be left with about £280.
It looks nice and I'm getting one but gotta say I love my iPad
Actually had a play with an iPad for the first time today. Great device but still prefer my Alienware M11X ultraportable for most use & the iPad is too big for me to carry around all the time. The iPhone 4 is an ideal portable.
Yeah was looking into iPad but i think that the Iphone has blown the iPad out of the water.
As in the sense that it has the same chip, 70% of the pixels and runs on the same OS4 (iPad in Autumn), has camera and does video too.
Obviously it ain't as big but also lets me know my decision not to rush out and buy the first gen iPad was the right one. You just know the iPad will look lame if Apple replicate the iPhone 4 in an iPad version.
Everything people have complained about will be in the next iPad, especially now so many companies are bringing out they're own tablets. Everything will be specced better, just one thing Apple has got is the APP store, something us the consumers have greatly moulded the products we have today.
Imagine the iPhone without the app store.......
......yeah wouldn't really be half has fun if you think about it, ya can argue it would still be great for web browsing etc, but that App store stops me from going to any other mobile at the moment anyhow

Off topic I know, but I really love my iPhone , use it all day every day. iPad is what I use at night sitting on the couch. Kids in bed, bit of piece and quiet there's no doubt the iPad is a much better device to browse the web and basically play around with than the iPhone. Don't get me wrong if I could only afford one it would be the iPhone. I see the iPad as a bonus

iPad apps are way better than the iPhones. It's still the same app store!!

I'm already on 02 btw but contract ended last month and my 16GB 3G is on it's way to o2Recycle.
Beware Ebayers. Sold mine 12 months ago, no problems, then 6 months later a chargeback. Lost money & iPhone. Did take case to ombudsman and Paypal paid me. He got free iPhone though. I did have the code on my receipt and blocked it.

Does anyone know if one can get a student discount on the iPhone 4? (Say on production of a UCAS acceptance letter).

Yeah me too, found myself refreshing these little white boxes of thoughts for last few hours, need to go bed for work in morning.....well i gone from can't deciding if to get white or black to now getting into debates on contracts and the stress of waiting for availability....well untill tommorrow guys, hopefully the Phone companies, haven't price fixed too high and we can get some details filtered through tommorrow without forcing people into making rushed decisions by scaring us about availability.
