The U.K. iPhone 4 Thread

I can finally add it into my basket but I wanted to buy a white one, someone said that white will not come out until late summer. I think I will wait for the networks to release more information.
 
As much as I know iPhone 4 will be a blinding success, this is starting to look like a bit of a debacle and a disappointment to the hardcore fans - the evangelists who give Apple its good name.

They've delayed getting pricing out to people; when the price finally arrived, it's outrageously expensive - and they're not delivering to anywhere in the UK except England and Wales.

Poor show.
 
just called vodafone as have been told that they are not taking preorders till tomorrow are they price has yet to be sorted

woohoo.. finally managed to place the order via apple online.. 32gb black iphone 4!

quadruple points via nectar hopefully too! better than nothing i suppose.

think the store is finally getting its act together, or people are logging off it due to shock of price!! lol

I get a discount on o2 payg handsets including iPhone. I was planning to just order it on the apple site if it was £550 and sack off queuing on launch day at the store, but now I'd rather save a bit extra and bring it back closer to £550 and get a bumper or something. If it's even cheaper on PAYG, then even better. Word on the street is o2 pricing today...but that's just going to add to the foundationless rumour-mill!
 
Ok no it's not.

You click pre-order. Takes you to a page where you can add more accessories. Then click add to basket. Then it crashes.
 
looks like o2 will be taking pre-orders!

Oh here we go. The "Apple have ruined this for everyone yet again!" crowd are waking up and logging on.

Just like the iPad launch, eh, where Steve Jobs lied to us all and double crossed us and ripped us off and stitched us up and oh NOES the sky is falling!

Ridonkulous. They're just swamped and it's not their fault the networks haven't got their backsides in gear to get prices up at 9am when Apple release theirs.
