Cost. I'm 5 months into a 24 contract. When my original 3g contract was up for renewal in January I stupidly got rid and went with a cheap contract and cheap phone. I've been using my girlfriends 3G for the past few months but it's died. Cheapest option for me as far as I can see is 2 contracts.

I just got my delivery confirmation from Apple saying my iPad has been shipped!!! :OTOTALLY SHOCKED! It was supposed to be shipped 30th June & delivered 2nd JULY!!
And yet we are still waiting for our iPhone 4's to be shipped lol
Going by this, I reckon the iPhone's arent far away, or we are gna get some super fast overseas shipping! We will prob get our delivery confirmations by tuesday defo...

Is there anyway to get your contacts from itunes? i sold my phone to o2recycle but the contacts arent saved in my sim card. So currently I have no idea whos texting/phoning me
Urm, 16GB Wifi + 3G, Im getting an iPhone 4, and I dont really use that much space up tbh cuz most of the music will be on my phone, plus im 17 and only had the money for a 16GB after buying my iPhone, and if I need more, I'll just buy a new unit with bigger capacity...

could have connected the iPhone with gmail and sync'd your contacts there? Then you can get them back when you sync your new iPhone.

By the looks of it, the operators all seem to look the same, with the exception of the data caps. Ultimately it boils down to how much data you need and what kind of coverage you'd get from which provider.
my status is still the same. i ordered within like 20 mins of the apple site updating! have ordered a black bumper as well still says will deliver 24th June. i really hope it comes a day early like the iPad's as launch
i would move to Vodafone now. best coverage. o2 have taken away so many benefits over the past year that they dont really stand out anymore like they used to

Delivers on June 24 with the black bumper there also?! Or you cancelled the bumper?
delivery is all together at the moment. i did ring them after i ordered to see if it would delay it and they said no. i might call them tomorrow to clarify.
The black bumper is the only one that promises delivery by June 24th. All the others are July 16th.
weird.....i tried to order one with a black bumper on the 15th (first pre order day) and it said had to ship together so will be estimated 28th june.....so i went out of that, did it all again with just the iphone on its own and that made it 24th again.
They have already said they have shortages over here on the networks. Thats why O2 have restricted it to new customers until the end of July as they are not going to have enough stock. You should be able to pick one up though if you get there early enough.
