I find the number of times that something to the effect of "I asked the sales assistant in X shop about X feature of the iPhone 4/it's release/it's tarrifs and they had no idea what I was talking about" both staggering and frustrating! And it hasn't even happened to me!

O2 guru James was just freaky, scared me a little haha

They both seem rather children of the corn’ish. Hopefully once we all get our iPhones they’ll go away, till then we’re stuck with them! :(

Vodafone - £45 a month. iPhone 4 - Black - 16GB.

I went for it because of the 5MB a day when you are roaming. This will be great when I take about 2 holidays a year and I can email home. I know I could probs get add ons or something, but 5MB is a lot of data for when you are away. Also, 1GB instead of 500MB is nice too.

I was getting 1.4MB/s with o2, so I am worried that Vodafone won't give me those speeds, but I will just use my Wi Fi at home if I am that bothered.

It depends where. Some places are inevitably busier than others. I'm going to the Liverpool ONE store and am contemplating going anywhere between 12am and 4am. :S

i really dont want to go any earlier!

any earlier is basically going to cross paths with the undead who will be wandering the streets from the night before; which i obviously want to avoid!

if there is a huge queue at 6am i will not bother i think, and just wait till 14th july. (so long!!!!!)

1. we are on a forum
2.we are on a mac forum
3.we are bored
4.we want our iphone 4s
5.10k is a big milestone which i missed by 1 ()
6. PROFIT!

I've got a faulty micro-SIM, well not faulty, but this damned micro-SIM, I think, is registered to an in-store demo device, or is an internal device :/

Also, my iPhone is in the second batch. Add to this, that there is currently a telephone fault at home.

All I need to know now is a) will the Apple Store in Kingston open early b) is it likely to be as insane as Regents Streets 4k reservations... that'll definitely affect the time I head there to get my reserved iPhone...

I'm hoping Kingston will be a little quieter. They are due to open at 8am on Thursday, but couldn't say when the Bentall Centre were opening their doors, possibly not until 8am. It shouldn't be as crazy as Regents Street, I hope, since Regent Street is Apple's flagship store and is likely to be hit by the city boys at lunch time who have a reservation.

I guess I'll see you in the queue on Thursday?

By the way, the iOS 4 update takes ages to install. I started it over two hours ago and it's still going as it wipes your phone completely and has to re-sync all of your apps, photos and music...
