Hey guys,

I'm just wondering if anyone happens to have a spare reservation for Cardiff?
I'm going to be queuing up bright and early on Thursday, but I haven't got a phone reserved.

If anyone is able to help me out please PM me.

Thanks.

Hi Bob, I'll be there with you in the queue on Thurs, thankfully with my reservation and enabled Micro SIM from Orange !

Got a general question with regard to the reservations. I've noticed a few people asking for and offering to pass on/receive reservations also seen on eBay that some are selling their reservations for upwards of £70 !! What use would they be if you can't supply a valid ID that matches the reservation ?

I'd hate to see people queue up thinking they've got a valid reservation only to be dissapointed when they get to the front of the queue. Even worse for the poor sods that are buying these online !!

*** There's one on eBay with bids of £205 !! Just for the reservation email ! ***

Got my MicroSIM. The guy at the O2 store had no clue they were allowed to dish them out until he read the email from higher ups.

Got it swapped over too. You don't need an adaptor, the holder that surrounds the SIM IS the adaptor seeing as you don't need to break out the SIM till your iPhone is in your hands.

Speaking of iPhone whats this about prepared for shipments, mine still says not yet shipped.

So accoridng to the last page, rumour has it Vodafone are getting between 5-10 handsets per store.

This is interesting, I wonder how many CPWH are expecting.. anyone got any info? What about other providers?

I know Phones4U claim they'll gets as many as they need, but it's clearly rubbish.

Just trying to decide who I queue up wiht - Voda (who haven't confirm they're opening early), Orange (who haven't confirmed stock levels), or CPWH (who haven't announced expected stock yet either).

I guess we may not know expected stock levels until tomorrow...

Is anyone with a pre-order still planning to arrive early at the store? Is it worth it? I am debating wether I should be there for the opening or not.

How strange, mine says mastercard and not mase. anyhow ive got a while to wait yet. im still on the fence as to whether to get a white one or not - when they do actually let us know what the deal is. hope that gives me time to cancel...

hmm guys.

Just done some maths.

I either pay nigh on £1400 over 18 months for the iPhone 4. Thats on the £40 tariff with my £15 insurance and a £220 early upgrade offer and the price of the handset which is £119.

OR

I buy a PAYGO handset, carry on with existing tariff which is 1200 mins + unlimited data for the same monthly cost and that costs a few hundred pounds less but I have to shell out £500.

Which would you guys do?

So one way you have to shell out £339 initially and one way you'd have to shell out £500 initially. If I had that high an early upgrade offer then I'd probably go the PAYG route and reduce my contract to a simplicity sim when my original contract expires. Not sure though. You'd probably get a phone faster by getting an upgrade.
There are cheaper options to cover your phone though, home insurance, premium bank accounts and third party phone insurance. £15 per month is pretty darned steep.

you know nothing you dont pay off debts by not cutting needless spending if they cut nothing they would have to spend £50billion and then the £32billion interest making us spend minimum £82billion - and that is NOT how any sane person would try to control their own debts and it translates the same to contry level

number ONE priority if you are in debt is try and GET THE DAMN OUT OF DEBT!

now we should seriously shut up about politics otherwise people will come out looking worse than the incessant apple/ android or othewise fanboys that know nothing but think they know everything but are actually blind idiots

Easy tiger.

CPW apparently have about 5000 in their warehouses and are expecting at most ten per store. That's what they said to me at least.

I've been put on a list in my local tiny orange store..
He expects that they will get 10 of each and I was number 7 on the list and he said would call on the 24th , probably about 9am..
I'm hoping that I get on there, because if not, I've got to drive a 1 and a half hour's drive to meadow hall, on the risk that I might not be able to take out a contract on my reserved handset because I might fail the credit check
Great stuff :(

Checked both the UK and US stores and still getting 'not yet shipped'.
Placed my order on 15/06 at 15:31GMT.
