I ordered at 08:52am GMT on the 15th, and mine is 'prepared for shipment.'

CPW apparently have about 5000 in their warehouses and are expecting at most ten per store. That's what they said to me at least.

I picked someone up many pages back on that statistic and someone (I assume the person who originally posted it) replied and said that the 5000/10-per-store figure was for the 16GB black models so, even if there are no white ones, then maybe there are 32GB black numbers that need to be added to that.

So one way you have to shell out £339 initially and one way you'd have to shell out £500 initially. If I had that high an early upgrade offer then I'd probably go the PAYG route and reduce my contract to a simplicity sim when my original contract expires. Not sure though. You'd probably get a phone faster by getting an upgrade.
There are cheaper options to cover your phone though, home insurance, premium bank accounts and third party phone insurance. £15 per month is pretty darned steep.

Yeah the £15 insurance is through o2. I think I'll have to find some cheaper cover!

I've reserved one at the Trafford Centre Apple Store so I can choose what I want to do when I am there.

No, you don't receive a shipping email (inc shipping ref) until your iphone actually ships. Ours are just prepared for shipment.

I haven't got an email --- I only checked the site because a whole load of people on here said it changed.

Dont worry i also have an order that i placed at 11.26 that is still showing as not yet shipped but my first order has changed(the reason two separate orders was not sure if first one went through with all the trouble going on so did two orders)
