So what time are you guys from Cardiff going to be queuing up then? I'm going to need to be right at the front to have any chance of getting one.

If I order one off the Apple website now for the 14th July, but I manage to get one in store on Thursday, will I be able to cancel my order? When do they take the money, instantly or when its shipped?

Also any word on Tesco's prices they seem to be leaving it a bit late.

With a bit of luck Tesco's will cut all the prices.

for those of you who still have "Not Yet Shipped" should notice the option to cancel the order is now greyed out...so that should be some indication that your order will be fine!

The iPhone is sold SIM-Free. You would need to contact Vodafone for activation and plan. I believe they will help you do this in the store but you would have to contact the Apple Retail Store for additional information. You can easily do it from home with iTunes.

Anybody got a microsim yet? I applied to O2 for one 2 weeks ago and still nothing. I shall be a very unhappy teddy to get the phone in 2 days time and not be able to use it. Do they have microsims in their stores?

I ordered MobileMe with mine as it was on offer, and I'm surprised they haven't yet activated it on my Apple account as it's not as if it's going to come in packaging, right? And yet it's right there on the order, to be delivered.

I also haven't been sent one in the post like they promised. Apparently it was the first 50,000 people only. Do what I did and head down to any O2 store with a copy of the email Apple sent to confirm your order(s) and pick one up - it's an official service from O2, so they should give you one if they haven't already given them all out now. Make sure it's appropriate to the type of contract/tariff you're on, though. There's two options - PAYG or Pay Monthly/Business.

If you don't get one by Thursday, just cut up your current sim following a template online and it'll work fine in the iPhone 4 until you get your official microsim.

Yeh mate, it comes in packaging. Just a serial num really. seems pretty wasteful coming from such an 'environmentally conscious' company.

I got mine from the local store take your email in from apple should get some people have had one sent through the mail i registered for one on there site but never received as yet glad i went the shop

My girlfriend picked up a microsim for me from
The O2 on Fenchurch Street. They asked for proof that i was definitely getting an iPhone so send a picture of my order status. She now has a pack with a microsim in. Apparently they don't have adaptors yet.

actually, just tried my o2 simplicity sim in a 3GS and it doesn't work. that surprises me.

Yeah. I got mine over the weekend, after having registered interest online with O2. Although am certain that you'd likely be able to pick one up at the store..

o2 doesnt have any tracking info regarding their 24th delivers.. They just said i'll get a text.. i'm missing out!!
