That's the departure scan, so it's the time that they scan the box and put it in the truck. So, either lots of trucks, or one very big truck that taken a while to load.

Wow... imagine if that truck got hijacked.

Ohhh don't say that. Imagine watching the breakfast news and the headline story was about a large of haul of iPhones being nicked from a hijacked lorry!

Hi just thought id contribute,

o2 will only be selling iphones to existing o2 pay monthly customers who are upgrading until the end of july as far as i know.

I want white, so im gonna get black tomorrow on an upgrade, keep it for 14 days, as i want the camera for my holidays. take it back in 2 weeks before the cooling off period is over, then wait for white to come out a few weeks later and get that.

Oooo I never thought of that. I think UPS have a depot near Edinburgh airport too, fingers very crossed and mangled!

It will be sent by Road if its been sorted in Tamworth, we send Vans to their, east midlands airport and to leyland every evening and have one return to us full by 6-7am every morning in time to be delivered that day. Most likely it will leave Tamworth and go to Leyland which will then sort it for northern distribution or they might take it direct from Tamworth to the Edinburgh hub.

GL and enjoy your iPhone!!

ok....my tnt tracking has now changed to northampton hub....arrived 10.30pm there......BUT I'M IN EXETER.......wtf????? it's taken 10 hours to get from nuneaton to northamton????? cant see how the hell i'm gonna get it tomorrow now :(

anyone know what the cooling off period is for a new o2 contract? Two days ago i switched my simplicity 1 month contract to a 12 month one (so i could save £5 per month). I now see that TESCO have announced their prices and im going to try to get one of those tomorrow.

Can I cancel the o2 contract without penalty? I thought that I had 7 days to cancel the contract without incurring a penalty, can anyone confirm?

The cooling off period is 14 days.

Trimming down regular SIM cards.

Hey guys,

If you want/need to trim down your current regular SIM, you can. However, some of the older SIM cards have larger gold chips than newer ones, but it can still be done. I found a nice template you can use (if you don’t have an adaptor to use as a template)

Template: http://www.buy-microsim.com/pub/MicroSIM template.pdf

I have also uploaded a picture of my current SIM, showing which parts of the gold chip you CAN cut away at, as they aren’t actually used.

(The ones with the white dash CAN be cut)

Hope this helps!

I wil be collecting a 32GB iPhone 4 with white bumper tomorrow from the apple bullring store.

Off to bed, also looking forward to my mcmuffin in the morning from mcdonalds :D

My personal live blog of the morning

Well, I'm going to queue in the morning. I don't know where yet, but I will be liveblogging the morning to keep things interesting:

http://www.mikewilson.cc/2010/06/23/my-iphone-4-live-blog/

I've included a feed from Twitter from #iPhone4LaunchUK so that will at least keep the content alive from all the other individuals who are queuing and tweeting during the day!

Anyone else having second thoughts with this antenna problem? I completely loses signal when you hold it in your hands.

I'm sure that someone has already mentioned this in the 12,500+ posts but I can't find it! :)

Can someone tell me what time the Trafford Centre Apple Store is opening in the morning?

Just read about the potential issues with the iPhone 4 (yellow screen and reception issues)... when I got the iPhone 3GS I had the yellow screen issue, but it wasn't too bad and I learned to live with it, so I'm not one of these iPhone owners that have had 2 or 3 exchanges for 'minor' issues... but if this reception one turns out to be a real defect, I'm concerned. Fingers crossed for tomorrow and hope everyone gets a fully functional iPhone.

Not sure what the 'panic' is... they are going to ship 100 of thousands of these.

Could just be a batch problem.

Could be the odd one or four, who knows.... But lets face it, Apple will exchange these with no questions asked.

I think some of the Blogs are going crazy about these things, making up polls, where the Android fan boys can vote... whats the point of the polls?

I've bought no endless stuff from Apple that supposedly has faults, and yet i've never experienced them. One day my turn will come, but Apple will exchange it, no questions asked.

/no panic..that's what I say.

That's near enough 50%
Hopefully its a US issue with the heat or something lol

Edit: I doubt they are making it up, but people against apple could be voting about issues. So I guess... I dno we'll see.

Someone who speaks sense :)

Its just the blogs way of creating even more anxiety and hype, after thats what the bloody media do!

Isn't the antenna issue just the fact that the bars don't work properly but reception is perfectly fine?

I saw a video on You Tube where the iPhone 4 was going from a strong signal (4 bars) when lying on a table, to 'No Service' when held in the hand in the same location.

Doesn't sound too promising to me. There's nothing worse than reception problems in my view.
