Any news of the apple store at trafford centre got a reservation but cannot get there till late afternoon

Unreserved queue is moving extremely slowly - 1 person per 10 minutes or something. Girl said they wanted to give everyone a great experience instore, showing them how to use it etc. It's quite annoying, I just want to run in and get one quickly.
Reserved queue is going much quicker.
More staff due in at 10 and they say it will speed up a hit.

I've not yet activated it and put sim in, only looked at the activation screen, LOL. I'm taking it step at a time.

haha... I was EXACTLY the same for my MBP... except instead of my dad it was buses and other trucks slowing down for the traffic lights 😛
To add my note to this behemoth of a thread..... I just got a text saying my phone will be with me tomorrow. It's from orange. I really am excited. This will be my first iphone, I'd been waiting for apple to sort out the lousy camera till it at least equalled the camera phone I currently own. Good luck everyone else with your deliveries and your queuing.

I'm getting one from White City Apple Store in London (reserved), which is for someone else, and my own is being delivered to work in Bayswater. I'll get the pickup first, then head over to work to either collect or wait for the delivery (I have the day off today, completely by chance!).
went to welwyngarden city, orange store, told there was 10 32bg in stock, i was 10th inline, great.
35 mins later, get told no iphone 32gb, only 3 people have left the store. i saw 2 employees of orange who have iphones, one a white one.
so much for wanting new custom. this is bull*****.

Hi Helen, sorry I didn't get to meet you. Had a good chat with Bob and others. Got in the store at about 7:15 and out again 15 minutes later. Would have been quicker if the chap who served me hadn't had a few problems with his terminal.
Anyway, back home and activated by 8:00 am! Can't be bad.
Hope you don't have to wait too long. 🙂

hi, on your macbook pro, is the 5/% key brighter than the rest of the keyboard?
Just a quick side point... this pic proves that the pics others posted showing that cpw and other stores had white iPhone 4's were fake cuz this is a black phone but the sides of the box are white, but in those pics they were all black
and I know we already knew this from the pic of the box on the apple store but what I mean is that this proves that the pic on teh apple site wasn't like a temp design or anything...
erm... Apple have said no whites until late July... so I doubt Orange have any. Maybe it was a display model
My sister turned up at Tesco in Gallows Corner, Romford at 8.30. Was told they had 6 phones in stock and they would be selling them at 9. She is second in a queue of three people!

Seems like ive started to experience this call signal dropping problem. If you set the iPhone on a table it will go to full Signal happily. Once you pick it up and your hand is around the metal. About every 2 seconds a bar of signal will drop untill you end up at No Signal. Then when you put the phone back down again, every 2 seconds or so the Signal will go up bar by bar again.
Very Odd..
