so.. how is the iPhone 4????

Apple Store Trafford Centre

Hi Helen, sorry I didn't get to meet you. Had a good chat with Bob and others. Got in the store at about 7:15 and out again 15 minutes later. Would have been quicker if the chap who served me hadn't had a few problems with his terminal.

Anyway, back home and activated by 8:00 am! Can't be bad.

Hope you don't have to wait too long. :)

Ohhh. Damn :)

I'm getting one from White City Apple Store in London (reserved), which is for someone else, and my own is being delivered to work in Bayswater. I'll get the pickup first, then head over to work to either collect or wait for the delivery (I have the day off today, completely by chance!).

sounds like you've got it sorted, what time you finish work?

Seems like ive started to experience this call signal dropping problem. If you set the iPhone on a table it will go to full Signal happily. Once you pick it up and your hand is around the metal. About every 2 seconds a bar of signal will drop untill you end up at No Signal. Then when you put the phone back down again, every 2 seconds or so the Signal will go up bar by bar again.

Very Odd..
Next question is, what happens to calls while this happens? And what about net access? Does Safari stall if you pick the phone up after starting to load a site?

went to welwyngarden city, orange store, told there was 10 32bg in stock, i was 10th inline, great.

35 mins later, get told no iphone 32gb, only 3 people have left the store. i saw 2 employees of orange who have iphones, one a white one.

so much for wanting new custom. this is bull*****.

Dont think there is any white till next month

Just saw a UPS van driving in front of the house in North West London.

Aww, mine was not in that one obviously :(

He's opened yours and knocked off early!

Lol only joking, bet you get it later. Ive got to wait until tomorrow. Really curious to see if any UK users have the screen issues.

Ups Delivery

is any one else having the same problem as me?

I am waiting outside the O2 store at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol, they aren't even opening until 9:30! I am about 20th in the queue and I got here at about 8. There are now about 30 people behind me but the guy in the store says they have plenty and should last more than the day.

Jeez, £750 on eBay!!! Hmmmmmmm.....tempting to sell the 16gb to cover some costs. :)

Eurgh, eBay. I sold my 16GB 3G last night on eBay. I must have unrealistic expectations of people - when they win I expect them to pay within the hour like I do when I win. Instead, the winner emailed me 3 hours later (and yet they placed the bid 3 minutes before the end so they MUST have been near a computer) to say they were waiting on a previous auction to refund money to her card because the auction was 'blocked' (whatever that means) and can I wait to the weekend for her to pay. I have no choice - I didn't state "immediate payment only" on the auction, but that's not a mistake I'll make again.

Some real idiots on eBay. :(

Yep mine is exactly the same, but mine is coming over to N.I. so delivery looks like it's going to be tomorrow after all. Was hoping they may have been over est. on the delivery times and it may have come today, but I'm not holding my breath :-(

Calls do drop out. I have had abit of a play with it, and I have found it to be related to the Bottom left corner for some reason. If you hold the phone left handed and have the bottom left of the iPhone close to your skin the call will drop. If your right handed and keep the phone away from you hand the call will be fine.

Really Strange, still doing more tests.

Just woke up, checked my tracking info on the UPS site and it just says destination scan (at tamworth) I'm only about 20 mins away..

I hope it's out for delivery!

Waiting for someone to answer the phone right now..mannn!

I'm fairly confident that this is a software issue - my 3G is doing the same thing on iOS4 and I'm about 10 feet away from a mobile repeater.
