UPS guy just arrived with two iPhones 😀

I was livid when i queued outside my local Orange shop for 45 minutes only to be told they wouldnt sell me it on PAYG.
I have registered on their website to phone/email me when they sell the PAYG units online. Annoys me that they are saying the PAYG Units are 'Out of Stock' when they have it available to buy on contract, the units are exactly the same!
They make more money through contracts than PAYG, but they should of done what O2 and Vodafone did and not release the PAYG Prices!
After all the talk and some stores claiming to have white 4's in stock did anyone on here actually get a white one today?
Also wanted to say that FaceTime is dodgy at connecting - a couple of times it didn't ring at the other end, then twice it failed after a few seconds but finally it was smooth for 36 mins. Works well. Tip: If you want to pause the video, exit FaceTime by hitting the home button. Audio continues, but you can mute that within FaceTime.
We also figured out that it's bridging the gap between antennas that causes signal to go down.

i know what you mean it takes the piss! i went into a local orange store not a big one but they said you would not be able to buy it in store you would have to do it on line! seems they have sold out of PayM now as well!
Mine has just been delivered by UPS (to Liverpool).
My little sister is beyond pissed off, she waited in all day for it while I was at work. I got home just before 4pm and two minutes after I walked through the door, the UPS man knocked. I'll have to buy her something nice..

Yes, it works fine. I first tried a free PAYG SIM and then my own which is 10 years old. Had to cut through the metal part of that one!
Meadowhall in Sheffield had the launch organised really well. The Apple store was next to two double doors that they opened up, one side was Reservations, the other was Purchases. It was a big long a/c corridor with both sides cordoned off. We were given free Starbucks coffee and biscuits, mini-donuts, chocolate fudge brownies and water etc. Made the 3 hours queueing totally worth it. The o2 store was opposite the Apple store and you should have seen some of their faces when we kept getting free food lol! 🙂

I am astounded at how good Three is. Free tethering and a 2gb data allowance. These are the speeds I'm getting consistently over 3G
2GB? Their website only says 1GB. Can you confirm this?
I am wondering if I should go with Orange (already with them and T-Mobile merger sounds interesting) or Three. So confused. Help!

If anyone is still waiting on their delivery, PHONE THE DEPOT and see where it is. They can arrange for you to collect it tonight from the depot rather than the ip4 sitting all alone in a warehouse when it could be sitting in the warmth of its new loving home 🙄

Might finally showed when all my excitement had pretty much died. Activated and syncing now. Preliminary signal test suggest mines ok but i'm not convinced till i've done further testing
No yellow spot but this seems to happen when the phone/screen heats up so i'm still waiting
Now to cut down the SIM of my significant other.
EDIT: Upon further testing i do have the signal issue. Great.
