does anyone know when regent street ran out, ive been on priority list since sunday and i know apparently there are 1000 people on it so i was wondering how many shipments dey will need before i can pick one up.

also do you know which iphone is in more demand 16 or 32, because i really want a 32GB and hope that doesn't keep running out of stock, apple is the only place i can get the iphone from because i want the 3 tariff

I went in yesterday and the staff there told me the last delivery they had was last Saturday and they ran out.

I noticed a queue of around 30 people at the O2 store in White Rose Centre in Leeds yesterday, so I assume they must have been notified of incoming stock.
I'm waiting for my 32GB to arrive via TNT (hopefully Monday), and I'd popped in the Vodafone Shop to pick up a micro-sim adapter so I can check if it's working. There was a guy arrived just as I was leaving who had come to pick up his IP4.

True good point...I'll give you the benefit of a doubt here cause that sounds like a good reason for apple to du such a thing..........
But I also hear that orange is delaying the iphone 4 orders just because one person complaint about the atenna problem...so apple is apperantly cheking the devices. Hopefully they arive soon cause I need one so badly.....:(
Also phoned them up again like 5 hours ago and they said that it's not their fault that the iphones have been delayed.....So I have no idea what to believe in now...

Orange had a delivery of 32gb phones in yesterday but all these went to back orders which there are plenty of. They still havent cleared the back orders from the 24th june. I dont know when you placed your order but you will be in the queue somewhere. Its a waiting game im afraid until you get to the top of that queue and they receive more stock.

Thanks for all the tips everyone.

Just ordered my iPhone from o2 over the phone. Will be arriving Monday or Tuesday.

Cant wait!!!!!

Me too!

O2 people, just ring 2302 every hour or so until someone says there is stock. It's strange how suddenly they appear!

I married the time of that status update to the time of a flight that left HK, and since that's the only one en route to the UK... :)

Strange though, TNT did not collect shipment from sender, it just magically had it.

Looking good for Monday Delivery then :)

Certainly is. My status was Please call yesterday, so I called, and the guy couldn't see why it said that, but said everything was fine with it, and it would arrive on Monday. He did say that it was slated to ship on Saturday, not the day (Friday).

I was in the Queue for the stock that had arrived. Got a 32GB after a 4.5 hour wait!!! tell you what well worth it though. Plus met some really nice guys in the line... got free legal advice about some issues as well LOL:D

ooooh shiney phone!! I love it :D ALthough was slightly concerned that DHL had just left it propped up against my front for me to find when I got home from work yesterday eventually

I got a tip off on twitter about iPhone stock at my local Tesco so I went down on Thursday at 8.50am, left just after 9am with their last 32GB iPhone 4 :)

Was this a friend's twitter or a tesco one? Do they provide updates for other stores?

Ordered mine on launch so yes 24th june 2010. So I probably be on a big list.....
I think apple has to speed up the production of the phone...
May be I should phone my local orange shop to find out if they have any iphone 4's in stock now...

Thanks for the heads up. Just rang that number, chose the 'if you are thinking of leaving us' option, told them I'd ordered from apple and would leave O2 when the phone arrived (due on the 15th), and the nice lady told me they'd courier me a phone for Monday. :)

My contract is my mothers name, so it's been a nightmare trying to get down to a store with her when they have stock. We're both always working. Anyway, today she is off but is visiting family in London. There is a store where she is going that got stock in this morning, but she insisted she wasn't going because she had a shopping trip elsewhere planned.

She usually goes out of her way to help me, and I really believe that she went this morning and picked me one up. But there is that chance that she didn't, and if she didn't, all hell is going to break lose considering the 3rd batch of stock won't be in for weeks after this one is gone.

God help you mother, I hope you did the right thing.

YES! After an hour of queueing at the Leicester O2 store, I have me an iPhone 4 16gb! :D

SUPERB customer service from the folks in the store as usual. Their signal and network may not be too brilliant sometimes, but their customer service is fantastic.

Hope you enjoy you new phone mate :D just wondering did you order from apple or a network carrier?

guys, which carrier here in the uk gives the most MBs per month for internet for pay as you go?

Orange Dolphin plan gives Unlimited '100mb' per month, and that is the only plan with internet i think, without paying ridiculous amounts.

I mean 250mb would be good... 500mb would be excelent. any more woud be fantastic! ofc :D

Oh and how do i check how much data i use, just want to check how much i use while doing certain things.

Just been to Southport and o2 shop had a lot of stock, must have sold twenty whilst I was in there. O2 stock checker shows quite a few in lots of o2 shops.

yup, I'm weird!!

My iPhone 4 with it's £30 a month contract (18months) arrived last thursday from Orange. Since then hubby has had to spend 2 hours on the phone to them in all because they messed up our iPad sims AND cos the network was down (it took them an hour to be able to tell him!!)

I started with Three with my iPad sim today and it's FAST! .. twice as fast as Orange and it's half the price (iPad sim). Also today the micro-sim I had requested from Three arrived so I've decided to jump ship.

I'll call and send the orange phone and contract back on Monday (you have 7 days cooling off) and try three. I ordered the phone on the apple website and it says 3 weeks which is ok (surprised I can say that! lol)

So for my £30 a month now I'll have a 10GB allowance on my iPad and 1GB data allowance on iPhone, 300 any network minutes and 3000 texts! (also 2000 three-to-three minutes but I don't know anyone else on three!)

*phew* I think I covered it all!

PS also with Orange they couldn't/wouldn't approve me for credit even tho I have a clear file so had to be co-account under hubby! .. Three did the same check and it was clear! la la la
