Keep trying O2 over the phone. They lied to me several times, saying they wouldn't process the order over the phone, and that I had to in store. But as others have posted, sometimes you get lucky and they say yes... last Friday at about 3pm, I got through to a nice guy who processed my order for Monday delivery, and I received it.
It's completely frustrating, but keep trying.
If, like you say, you're willing to move to another network, trying playing that card on O2, speak to retentions, tell them you're thinking of going elsewhere to get an iPhone 4... you're very likely to get one that way.
Does anybody knows when new iphone stock going to arrive on orange....

They have stock today I believe - my brother ordered a 32Gb from them as an upgrade this morning, due for delivery tomorrow (they've lied to him several times in the last week about stock levels however, so it pays to be polite yet persistent).
Annoyed me as I've got to wait another 2 weeks for my 16Gb ordered via Apple online to be delivered, and he gets an upgrade the next day. How does that work? 😕
they're recieving stock, but they're sending them out to others and making you wait it seems

i ordered one on the phone from them (new customer) last monday (29th June) and it arrived last thursday .. number ported over this monday ..
I really think it depends how idiotic the customer services person you get on the phone is! .. I got lucky

I'm still running with my years free web and wifi which I think is still unlimited. To be honest my usage is never going to get to the 500mb limit anyway. It's just cool that the feature is there for me to use if I need to get round my works firewall.😀
It's true what people are saying about ordering over the phone with o2. I tried everyday for the last week and go rejected everyday, but today I managed to order my iphone on a 35 pound line rental and 160 pound buyout from old contract.
Just keep trying.

Yeah so lucky to stress out for a faulty product that won't work well and will motivate you to complain on this forum.
Heads up you will have reception and proximity problems.

No the thing is I already paid for the device and already received my micro-sim card but the thing is that the actual device haven't arrived yet which is kind of weird. I think they shouldn't have send me a micro-sim in the first place.
But anyway I paid for it and I would like one.....
Yes you might be right that I will get reception problems but I'll just by a case to find out if it helps....😛
It's been out for quite some time, which rock have you been hiding under to not see that. Connect your iPhone up and it'll prompt you to slow down your phone with iOS4.

I walked into an Orange shop last Monday as a new customer (I'm moving over from O2). I paid £60 deposit and on Saturday I picked up my 32gb Iphone4. Number wont get ported until tomorrow but I thought 5 days was pretty good. Certainly seems like the way to go rather than ordering through their website.
There was only a waiting list of 5 when I placed my order.
Ahh, i see, well we can safely assume that will be atleast 30 days after the 24th of june, therefore you cant return iPhone for free, so 24th july at least.

Have to admit tho with mine it actually was just the 'appearance' of rubbish reception .. the actual reception is way better than on my iPhone 3 GS with O2!

iPhone 4 returned to Tesco this afternoon. Wish I didn't have to do it but my 14 days are almost up and I'm not going to hold onto a non-functional phone.
Does any 1 know when apple are getting more stock in, seems quite bad that they have had no deliveries since the launch when 02, orange etc have been receiving additional ones

I found out that they haven't received any new stock....🙁
But they are apperantly getting new stock in this week. Hopefully this is true.
