In my experince NO.....Everbody who I know had already pre-orderd theirs or brought it on a contract. May be your friend is lucky enough to find a store with stockphilippines is gonna get it sometime august-september. i aint waiting that long. xD
has anyone been able to jsut walk in and buy one since launch?
But I can tell'ya that its mostly unlikely that he will be served..people on the priorty list will be served before hand and from that point highly unlikely.
But if you want the iphone 4 so badly you can order it to someone in you family in the Uk (if you have any family friends living currently in the UK) and after 3 weeks they can send the phone through DHL or other post systems to your present country.
But anyway good luck getting yours...

I really couldnt be asked to go on the phone and ask, unless it gets me free stuff for the effort... if not ill just play some doodle jumps and stuff of the sort while i wait. Yep, doodle jump straight 240 hour jumping bender.
