So is anyone considering returning their phone? I love it but the range issues (not the antenna but rather just the unstable range I seem to be getting) and general value of the O2 contract aren't great.

I'd have gone with Voda/Three but O2 gives me the best range. Yet with this phone its poor - anyone thinking about switching? Also, Three has 1GB tethering which is nice.

Don't consider it! Do it! Just as I did after 5 days, got a full refund on the :apple:iPhone4 that was "Not Fit For Purpose". You may like to consider this, what if you drop/damage the :apple:iPhone4 before you return the phone that does not actually do it's job, you'r stuck with it! Return it now before it's too late!:(

I've been on the waiting list at the nearest Apple Store to me (Brighton) since 27th June. Seriously getting annoyed at nowhere knowing when they are receiving stock, I mean they should at least know... or am I wrong? Been without a phone for nearly a month now =/. Hope something changes soon

Mentioned this before.

Been on since 8.30 am (after getting there at 4.50am!) on the 24th at the Liverpool Store and still nothing. Went to Southport on Saturday and 02 and Phones4U had loads, go figure!

Initiated my 2nd return yesterday but this time was given a free bumper and given that it was the only issue with my phone i decided to cancel it (i'm a fanboy) but my gf was having none of that and wanted her money back so that 1st return remains active

I was using this prior to the return which helped a little...may continue to do so

Just spoke to someone at phones4u, apparently they had a shipment of over 900 phones, only 70 left now though if anyones interested.

I know it's been asked over and over again here but has ANYONE got an iPhone off the priority list in the Regent Street store yet?

After the launch day fiasco with an official reservation but turned away at the doors due to too many people, I put my name down on the list on 01/07. So, I'm not expecting anything at least this week. I'm even browsing ebay again.... dammit...

Still, I'm intrigued to know if another batch has come into the London Apple stores yet or are they just trickling in and prioritising the carriers instead?

Anyone?

I put my name for the Regent Street reservation list on 24th June. I got an email this morning saying that it is ready to be collected. This is valid until tomorrow.

Hey guys,

I'm on the reserve list in the Cardiff store, but I'm thinking of purchasing one off the Apple website as I'm not sure which way will be quicker.

When do Apple take the money for website orders, and will I have 14 days to take the phone back from the date it arrives, or date of purchase?

Thanks.

Vodafone in Liverpool ONE has stock today, called in at the Apple Store (again!) and told no stock since launch. Somethings not quite adding up, why are phones stores getting deliveries and the Apple Store is not?

I also asked Apple if can they check the priority list and make sure i'm still on it! told they don't have access to it, I said the store set up the list why don't they have a copy, just got a shrug from young Doris of a sales person!

Getting really frustrated now

Can´t you just forget a mobile device for 4 weeks? Would it change your life that much?
I mean, come on, they aren´t giving you one because they like someone else better than you. It´s just not available.
In 14 days or maybe one month you will have your iphone 4 and after one more week you will never think about the waiting time again.
geez!

Geez?? Was only asking in a moment of boredom. Happy to wait, I just wondered for how long, and I don't think that anyone believes that Apple's product ordering/reservation system likes me or anyone else better.

I mean, come on, did you really feel the need to have a little rant over a normal question?

Received my O2 iPhone 4 16GB upgrade today - ordered only yesterday over the phone from O2 direct (delivery in 22 hours).

My Orange iPhone 4 16GB (new contract, ordered yesterday from www.orange.co.uk at 10am) is due for delivery between 4pm and 5pm today.

Glad I didn't bother with retail stores.

After all that waiting the tariffs are far from great, especially when you consider the fact that they are 24 month contracts only (at the moment).

I think Tesco are definitely the best value right now, but who knows when they'll actually have any stock in?!:(

Tesco do seem to offer a good deal, and 12 month contracts from £20. I rang them today and was told they have had no phones in since launch day.

Tesco Update

Phoned my local Tesco about an hour ago and asked if they had any iPhone 4's in stock and the reply was;
"Not at the moment but we are expecting delivery either sometime today or tomorrow".
Pretty much what ive heard all week from 'em. Fingers crossed!

Are they not accepting reservations?

They've really made a meal of this release, more so than the other networks I think (excluding t-mobile of course!).

Guys just picked up an iphone from Tesco in the west midlands, they had 7 in total 3 x 32gb and 4 x 16gb

What store/city ?? I rang the only Tesco in Coventry doing the iPhone4 and they said they ain't got any, I'm going to ring back and find out if they know when their expecting some.
