Im guessing that they have included the first month bill of £35 in the total price. Only thing that springs to mind.
Mine had only got to Northampton today at 15:56 so it took over 24 hours to get from Arnham.
I don't expect it to be with me tomorrow though just seems very slow at getting things out with TNT. I hope Apple doesn't use next time when I come around to order with them.

People are saying they have their phone on Three...
But the website is still 'coming soon'.
I'm not back home in the UK for another month, so hopefully by then there will be plenty on the shelves!
They have sim-free phones with three sims in I believe, and the guy in the three shop today told me that they're not expecting it until the end of next month so you're fine there. However I don't really want to wait that long as my contracts ending so I've just ordered the Tesco £20p/m contract. (thank you to the person who linked to them)

I did. It's now painful waiting for a SIM free handset to come into stock, but glad I moved away from O2 while I had the chance.

I think I've just been jacked for an additional £35. I really do hope this relates to the £35 line rental and not that they've raised their prices.
Tesco Mobile Online Order
Just ordered an iPhone 4 32GB on the £35pm Deal via the link posted here. I got my confirmation email and I paid via my credit card as I didnt want to put the £334 on my debit card.
I'll see if I receive the phone on Thursday, then I'll ring Tesco and I'll discuss with them about the monthly bill as I there is no Direct Debit page or anything on there.
Maybe they will ring you and arrange it?! We shall see!

Sticky tape made no difference at all!
I decided to post here as I'm quite enjoying having a UK forum!! Hope that's ok!!
So then my zagg shield arrived today so (for a trial period) I'm ditching the full flip case. I decided that while I was getting myself in knots with the shield I would pop some sticky tape across the offending left edge antennae joiny place (that's the technical term I believe!!) and rather weirdly when I held the phone in the offending 'death grip' it still dropped bars/signal the exact same way. I removed and replaced the tape in several different ways all of which covered the 'black line'.
So I'm wondering if anyone has used tape and had it help?
The reception issue isn't a problem for me generally as I luckily appear to hold the phone naturally the 'right' way!!

It's totally anal that I noticed this, but after closer inspection it seems that right on the very top of my iPhone 4 there is a little gap between where the plastic "trim" that edges the front glass meets the stainless steel band.
It basically runs the length of the top of the phone, from the first "antenna strip" to the left edge of the sleep/wake button.
It's open enough for me to get the corner of a piece of paper into, but it doesn't leak any light. I'm not overly worried about dust getting behind the screen, since the glass is laminated to the display, so it's more or less sealed anyway.
At first I thought it was a shadow being cast by the edge of the steel band, but alas no. It's probably been there since I bought it as well, but I'm kind of ashamed that I noticed it to begin with!
I know Apple replace iPhone's on the "cosmetic defect" basis, but I'd be too embarrassed walking up to the Genius Bar and going, "Look, can you see it? Give me a bit of paper and I'll show you". I can only begin to imagine the looks I'd get!

Well, I live in the suburbs of a big city and I get the loss of signal. Fright now I caught myself holding it with my left hand and my palm is completely covering the black strip. I have 1 bar and 3G is really slow.
It is there and it is getting annoying.
Don't want to get rid of this phone it is so... Good!!!
But... I'm still inside the return period and so is nearly everyone else! If everyone returns, Apple will do something?
Who reckons the White iPhone will have this problem?
Don't worry guys, the charge on top of the handset is your first month's plan cost. I ordered the £349/£20pm iPhone via the Tesco website a few hours ago.
Came up as £369, Rang Tesco about it and they confirmed you pay 1 month's price plan cost in advance.
