Same here. Shipment delayed. I'm wondering why that is. I just did a quick check and the weather in HK seems ok - not really bad at all.

I think that this is very unlikely but could it be that Apple has stopped TNT and is planning to replace the iPhones with newer, fixed ones?

I doubt that very much, i think it was just one plane (unfortunately mine) that hit bad weather so had to land. Seems strange though, i haven't had any updated tracking info for over 12 hours! Wait until Apples press conference tomorrow at 6 PM, i don't think they'll replace any phones.

Stock update - iPhone 4 on Tesco Mobile

thanks a lot :) i ordered online at tesco direct, it's been over 24 hours and it's still 'dispatching soon' due for delivery tomorrow, starting to regret ordering because i could of just gone to my Tesco Extra nearby and grabbed one but now i'm stuck with having all the problems I'm most likely going to get (cancelled + refund) and then wait 5 days for the money back!

As predicted, there's still no sign of my tesco direct order which was supposedly sent out yesterday and due for delivery today. If anyone's still contemplating ordering online, I wouldn't bother if I were you.

IN THE POST?! what model/contract? (16GB/32GB?) Did you order online or over the phone?

Ordered over the phone, 16GB, 700min £35 per month = £649 for the year. I was planning to get the £20 a month but difference is only £60 and I'm getting an extra 500mins per month.

I ordered mine from Tesco last Wednesday for delivery on Friday.

It was 'dispatching soon' right up until late Thursday night, and I received delivery at 5:50pm on Friday.

So I wouldn't panic just yet.

Although that was the Tesco phone line rather than online.

I've not seen any success stories for online orders yet. :(

Just checked mine, :(

Are any of the carriers offering Pay and Go iPhone 4's yet?

Although Tesco's £20 a month contract looks pretty good, just wish it came with unlimited internet instead of 1GB.

Did anyone else just get an e-mail from Tesco about iPhone 4 stock?

Just got one before, going to try a London store tonight to see if they have them in.

Thanks to the other postings earlier, I did not try ordering from Tesco Direct.

The e-mail says to go in-store.... Will see how that goes...

Yup, called up my local store as soon as I got it and they said no. They claim it was a blanket email when in fact only a couple of stores actually have stock.

Yep, I got the email, but it didn't arrive until 2:20pm :(

I rang the 6 stores nearest me... 5 of them said they hadn't received any phones at all today and it was the first they'd heard about the email, the other one said they got a batch this morning but had sold them all within an hour.

Will keep on trying every few days...

Just got the cancelled and refunded message on Tesco Direct, different to the usual 'somebody will ring you' one. Does this mean I don't need to bother ringing to request a refund or what? :/ gutted.

It only says that the iPhone 4 16GB was cancelled and not the 'contract package', am I safe to ignore that?

You're in the same boat as me (plane rather). I rang TNT and they said still due for deliver on Monday 19th.

Same here mines also been canceled and refunded, I called and was told that it's safe to assume that the "contract package" has also been canceled as this is "standard practice". The refund email confirms that a full refund was provided.

anything i must do to make sure my iphone has none of my details if i am retuning it?

ive taken out the sim card and i restored it so now itunes asks to put in a sim. I havent been shown a set up as new/other phone...

Got off the phone with Tesco Direct, order should have been refunded and should double check with Tesco Mobile. No idea when they're getting more stock in (via the phone) and she said 'there's some major glitches with the iPhone and so that's why we're having delays getting them in'… hmm, that would be the antenna problem then.

Got an email about the refund of £370, good news. Shame I'm not gonna get an iPhone in ages now! :/

It just seems to me that the 16GB Iphone orders have been canceled and it would make sense if they ran out of stock quicker due to higher demand.
