Missed these posts. Also with Lloyds and they flagged up the payment on my credit card as possibly fraudulent. Didn't flag up the shedloads I spent in Ireland the week beforebut I had to make about 8 phone calls and it held the phone up for a few days.
Same with me for Natwest. I think it is because of the type of transaction - they use your debit card to set up the direct debit/recurring payment on your account, hence it is flagged as a transaction that needs verifying.
