Thanks, does that 5/7 days count for all banks? I have a separate hold on my account (for a portenzo case) from the 23rd which hasn't been freed yet, I assumed it would never be.

I've set up notifications for john lewis, tesco and best buy. is there anywhere else?

No worries, I would just cancel the apple order as you mentioned you could probably get one before the 25th of april even if you go into some of the stores in the next coming weeks they must be getting some stock here and there.

Sales tax as well? That's not good. Looks like its gonna add about $10 onto the price? I suppose it's still worth considering its about £200 dearer in the UK.

Argos do texts... probs emails too. I signed up for all these, I hope I don't get bombarded with them now xD

Seriously, check if that site I mentioned last post still has them :)

I'm sure you'll find one way before the expected Apple date. I've read Currys are getting them in on Tuesday, not sure how accurate it is though.

I think its just for Debit. I think Credit Cards are automatic? Not sure though, never had one to use.

Lucky you! You must be somewhere near the distribution point? I stayed sober for a result like that, what a fool I was! Still, I'll check the status tomorrow AM and see. I think the 4PM thing is a general rule / safety barrier. I'm sure they will land before. I can just see it turning up at the store and the staff saying, that's one of them things no one can get hold of init? Let's put it to one side and tell the customer there was a problem :eek: I'm afraid I'm a bit cynical :)

Yeah. 'Dear javjamoll, you owe us money for 8 x iPads' :) Probably better than the letters I've had from the taxman this year :mad:
 
And whilst I'm at it, how come Tesco were selling the leather smart covers for £35?! Is someone going to get a spanking tomorrow? Oh, and whilst I'm on that one, I rushed to put the order in for the iPad and totally missed the £10 e-coupon, but it says you can use it in-store. Do you think they will still honour this when I show up with my print out of the order? No harm in asking I guess :)
 
Wow, I'm surprised that Tesco is getting them faster than the apple store themselves. I ordered at 12.32am on Friday morning and am looking at a 16/4 dispatch!

HDNL have a habit of delivering to me in the late afternoon hope they don't today! Getting impatient!

Has yours left the depot yet?

"The parcel has been loaded on to the drivers van" 50minutes ago and it doesn't look like they've attempted delivery yet! :D:D:D

Just got in from uni so hope it arrives soon - now I bet it won't arrive until 5pm xD

I think the Glasgow Depot is outside Glasgow though, so may take a little while.
 
Morning all! I'm still at sending from warehouse to store!!! Just as well cause I'm having my brekky!
 
Well my Tesco order just arrived at home - 32Gb Wifi +3G in black (ordered on friday). Just wish i was there to play with it...:(

edit - box is much smaller than I expected! :D
 
My status has changed to "ready for collection"

Woo hoo. I'm leaving work early to go get it. Nice one Tesco.
