My card was just charged too! Next Friday can’t come soon enough!

I ordered an X this morning via the Verizon app (will be delivered on December 1st). I didn't do the trade-in on my current phone (6 plus), since I didn't want to change to the unlimited plan. So I can bring my 6 plus to a Verizon store after I get my X, and trade in the phone for cash/credit then?

I don’t deal with Verizon for trade-ins and use Gamestop. Gamestop is currently offering $400 cash or store credit for the 7+ but as an Elite Pro member, I get more for the device ($450) but if you want I can check what a 6+ is worth (model, carrier and storage plz).

The biggest difference, aside from cost, is that AppleCare doesn't cover loss or theft. In my iPhone experience, $20 on Amazon will get you a case and glass screen protector strong enough to protect from normal drops and scratches. I'd only get insurance if I were going caseless, prone to losing my phone, or involved in extreme activities with it.

Not only are the monthly premiums high, but when I actually had to make a claim, the deductible was $200! So almost two year's worth of $11 payments, and a $200 deductible got me a refurbished iPhone 6 Plus that I needed to return just in order to trade up for the 7 Plus. No thanks.

also with apple care screen repairs are $39 and $49 depending on what you have. apple care is way better imo. you pay 100 up front and if your screen breaks its only 50 bucks max with apple care. the 1 year you get with the phone ONLY COVERS manufacture defects thats it.

Did anyone else's Verizon order status page just change? Mine changed layout and now doesn't show a delivery date at all (originally had 11/3). EDIT: right after I posted this my debit card got charged the tax/upgrade fee by Verizon.

Mine just got charged as well, Bank of America declined so I had to verify. Hoping Verizon tries to charge again or sends an email requesting to verify.
