It is true: 95% of the consumer world use Windows based PC's...

It is not my wish or intent to insult you by picking this nit, but due to the point of this thread, I felt I needed to correct a "worst thing".
The above is not, in fact true. About 80% of the world uses Windows PC's.
What is true is 95% of the market is Windows based PC's - meaning 95% of computers bought/sold at retail are Windows based PC's. This is Market Share.
But only 80% or so are actively used Windows based PC's.
This is Installed Base. BTW- at last count, Macs are about 11.6% of Global Installed Base.
This is classic misprinting by the media, and frankly, I understand if it's easy to confuse, but it's one thing that really irks me to hear. Market Share is only applicable to Hardware sales. Once a sale is made, that customer is no longer in the market, and thus a member of the Installed Base.

I am so guilty of this too. I think I spent an hour or so sitting infront of the new mac at work making "Wheeeee...Wheeeee" sounds.

I'm not sure if it's Microsoft's problem that you fail to grasp the distinction between the left and right mouse buttons. I guess you could go out and get a 1-button mouse and it will work just fine for you.

He said shift key, not mouse button. And yes, it is Microsoft's problem if two identically labelled shift keys don"t do the same thing, especially if they don't specify which one. Besides, isn't it awkward to have to use the left shift key when the mouse is on the right side of the keyboard?

This is what happened when TELEWEST sent someone to install my cable internet connection. One man installed the wires with no problems, and then another arrived an hour later to install and configure the software.
