Good to see Schilling have a nice outing..Lugo is sucking big time.I wouldn't mind seeing Youk at leadoff.Drew goes 1-4 Manny's taking alot of called third strikes this year.He has almost as many as he did all last year..

Drew is definetly struggling, as is Manny and Papi.

I think some warmer weather will help. And Drew needs to adjust - rentawreck and lowe could never deal with the pressure, he seems like he will come around.

.217 for a leadoff hitter with an OBP of .277 to me is struggling..If he doesn't pick it up,drop him down. Drew should def be dropped down in the order to take some pressure off him.Let him get his swing back and work his way back up the order. If Drew was considered laid back by LA standards,he'll get eaten alive here not only by the fans,but the media as well.Both are already growing restless with him.For $14 mil/year,ya gotta be showin some signs of life.....

He threw 6 innings, and thats pretty much all you're going to get from him. He's old and not that good. And beating Pittsburg isn't that much of an achievement.

Beckett hasn't really pitched against all star teams except the Angels and Indians.

Who said he can pitch 8 innings? He's 5-6 inning pitcher. You need more than a closer.

Becketts only made it into the 8th inning twice. And I have faith in the depth of the bullpen, I think they finally got it together.

Yes, but he's made it to the 7th at least 4 times, then oki and paps finished it off. Clemens might make the 7th a couple of times, but mostly he'll be 5-6.

Lets see, Yanks are in LA, and we are in Tampa. I think we should do better in the next few games. We already took the first one.

Then its Detroit for NY, who are pretty good, and we get to the White Sox, who aren't.

We should be able to pick up at least 2 games in the next few days, if not more. Then its welcome to Boston for Clemens on the 30th (assuming same rotation).
By the end of August we should be up 8 games.

Now, its the Sox, and nobody can loose as well as the Sox, but given our easy schedule the rest of the way, we should be in great shape to win the division.

The Red Sox really did luck out with the easy schedule, but the Yankees took 3 of 4 from the Tigers so don't get your hopes up of the Yankees loosing to many. The big problem is Anaheim, If the Yankees can get out of there alive they should be ok.

Beating up on the likes of Tampa Bay is one thing. The Sox have to be able to do it against the likes of the Yankees,Angels,Tigers etc.. Hopefully Yuke will come alive..Many and Ortiz are hitting.Drew,well,the beat goes on...

Yeah, we lucked out, that also means we have the best winning percentage against the hardest part of the schedule.

And as long as the Yankees keep losing one or two a series, and we get to sweep, its all good.

I don't even think she's all that good looking. I mean at least Yes has Kim Jones and they don't throw her out mid came with talking points. Save the eye candy for pre and post game.
