YAY 11-6 :D

I bet we could use Cora in the OF instead of Wily mo strikeout.

Ellsbury is on fire in triple-A, he might make an appearance in Boston before the end of the season.

Yeah, he'll definitely be called up in September, but we might even see him before then. It depends on his performance and also how Crisp performs. If he keeps doing well and Crisp keeps slumping, we could see him sooner. He already has major league ready defense, the only issue is his batting. But I think he could probably bat as least as well as Crisp is doing. I wouldn't mind seeing him being called up to play CF and moving Coco over to RF if Drew keeps getting injured.

The thing they don't want to do is call him up to be a utility role/bench player. When he gets called up, he will be playing and starting full time.

If things continue with Will Mo Strikeout and Drew's unreliability healthwise, Ellsbury will be up before Labor Day.They're going to want to get him some time in for the post season...
WTF is with Tim McCarver yakking about Manny playing shallow in left. Trust me, Manny knows leftfield in Fenway, Tim..

hahaha i know. i hate mccarver and buck, they're both idiots. Manny wasn't that shallow, and Fenway has a shallow LF to begin with. And yeah, Manny knows how to play LF in Fenway better than anyone, whether its going into the monster to take a piss during a pitching change (lolz) or playing a ball off the monster to throw someone out at second.

YA BABY, A-Rod number 20, The Paperboy gives up the home run.:) Classic Rivera tonight.

typical yankee fan. a-rod does something to help you and you cheer him, but if he ****s up you boo him and hate him

I don't care who the player is, if they do good I'm gonna cheer if they do bad Im going to make it known as well.

I think you're a typical Arod hater more than anything else. Yankee fans know how crucial Arod is.
Right now A-Rod is saving the team. If it wasn't for his 20 home runs who knows where we would be.

As the guys on ESPN said last night. A-Rod can't do anything right in peoples eyes.

Seriously. Do you not cheer when someone you don't like, on a team that you like, does good??

Great game last night- the bullpen did a great job for once! CLASSIC Mariano.

Morgan and Miller sounded like a couple A Rod appologists last nite. The man love was boderline lust.I thought they were going to get a room after the game. People are making way tooo much out of that play last week. It's no different than a defensive lineman yelling hike ;) As for the stripper, well,he got caught. I wonder how many other players are doing the same thing? Bottom line for A Rod is that he can have a fantastic regular season this year.If he bombs again in October, they'll want his head.Baseball is a what have you done for me lately kind of game, esp in Boston and New York..

Man, that was an ugly series.
Ejections, injuries, bean ball, questionable calls...Sounds like a typical NY-Boston series.

As for the A-Rod "yelling" thing, whatever. He should do that, so should every other player.

Let's see where we are in two weeks. If it is still a double digit lead, then I might start to feel comfortable.

No more games until August 28th, so until then its just who can whip the rest of MLB better. Too bad, I would have loved to see the Sox against Clemens.

I think they care in Oakland, walk off home run in the 12th to beat the Red Sox.

Red Sox lost 4 in a row.:D

Yes,and it's standing room only on the Tobin Bridge :p You can't play .700 ball all year long. Nobody should be surprised they have cooled off. Wake didn't pitch all that bad last nite. Bats will come alive sooner or later. Move along...Nothing to see here :D

Good to see Schilling have a nice outing..Lugo is sucking big time.I wouldn't mind seeing Youk at leadoff.Drew goes 1-4  Manny's taking alot of called third strikes this year.He has almost as many as he did all last year..
