*LTD* said:Why would a company that doesn't even hire focus groups do this?
Don't you think they'd at least TRY some focus groups before going straight to something this big? Why skip that rather obvious first step?
Isn't it Apple's MO to specifically avoid focus groups?
There must be some other reason for these things to be in the wild other than to gauge consumer reaction. Apple never determines consumer reaction this way. It's possibly just a red herring to throw off the competition. Yes? No?
60 years ago, some business exec said the exact thing about chinese manufacturing. It's shameful that so many Americans have become apologetic pessimists willing to argue their own defeat.
I am imagining them MADE IN AMERICA. I see new factories and plants that are more efficient then the 5-10 year old electronic facilities in China. I see a new generation of engineers and designers reinventing the assembly line here. I see smart inventory systems that recycled used material and all processes are housed on one campus. I see thousands of jobs created. I see a company like Apple, which has already gotten us to accept paying a premium, getting us to accept the quality made at their OWNED plants.
If Apple is truly the BMW of computers, then they can make their product at home. BMW created state of the art facilities that rival the manufacturing of all the automotive makers. I would like to see an American company with the guts to make this sort of investment and vision. I think Apple is in an EXCELLENT position to actually make this happen.
Next time you tell someone else to do or think something because you no longer believe; stop. Think different.
I've got another one. I almost left it at Kate Beckinsale's house last night. She has some exquisite satin sheets, I tell ya what.

Except Apple don't care what the customers say; they design and the people buy them in quantities. So no need for a test here.Controlled Leak.
Apple is seeing how future and current iPhone users react to the design of the phone and the specifications of it.
This is really about the iPhone "design" and if we accept this new shift.
Comedy is drama, just like tragedy.I like how it is referred to as "drama." It made me laugh because it's true.![]()
Now that's a phone that shows a step forward in development, though it might be a bit to thin to hold up at the bottom but I'd rather chance it with some nice uni-body aluminum.
These pics floating around look like something Motorola designed 2 years ago, not a step in the right direction.
As a matter of fact here is of all things a playboy labeled phone that if it was touch screen would look just like those pics.

It is 4G, 4th Generation![]()
Here a little PS and bam!
I was at Lupe Tortilla with my fiance and we were out drinking because I had just been laid off and we were drinking it away lol... waiting for our food I pulled out my 3Gs and watched some funny videos with her... AHH the food has arrived so I put the phone on my lap... being drunk and happy to eat I totally forgot about my phone and as I stood up the phone must have dropped onto the ground... once I arrived home I realized the phone was missing so I immediately drove back to the restaurant... I looked where I was sitting and no phone, so I asked the employees. The busboy had found a phone and he specifically said iPhone and turned it into the hostess. The hostess that was there checked the cabinet and saw no phone, the other hostess had left for the night. The manager said there was nothing they could really do but ask the other girl when she arrived at work the next day. The outcome of the whole story was that, they said a phone was found but it was not an iPhone, yet the busboy said iPhone and someone clearly had to of found my iPhone. So I think the hostess that went home for the night decided that since she was about to leave that she could steal it and claim ignorance. I am out of a 3Gs and am using my old cracked 3G :\
maybe this chinese one belongs to that chinese bloke that killed himself after he lost it. that one never surfaced. this could be it.

The left image reflects the original Twitter leak while the right shows the Gizmodo leak. The first image has no visible screws on the bottom of the device. The original images also don't seem to have the Apple logo on the back of the device, or even the iPhone name printed on it.
I'd expect aluminum and glass to look (and feel) a lot more sturdy than something made from two colors of molded plastic. In case you haven't noticed, aluminum and glass is very very common amongst Apple products.
So apple were the first to do:
touch screen phones?
smartphones?
application stores?
icons?
copy paste?
all the things they stole of nokia?
I dont know what you mean by "nicer in size", but just so you know it, the size of the screen is actually slightly smaller than previous iPhones. Nice, huh?
or he is at home loosing his mind and firing half the iphone department
