I was once threatened to be sued by Rolex for listing a copy so close to the real thing I wasn’t sure it wasn’t. Had bought in Iraq during a deployment and listed on eBay many years later. Had to lawyer up and mail it to Rolex or be fined.

If you don't buy something direct from source or a trusted and authorised reseller, everything is caveat emptor.

People don't buy a $40 LV bag from a market believing it's just a great deal and the same bag they would pay $2,500 direct from LV. The same for the $150 Rolex which should cost $6,500.

The market for fake items is worth billions because people are willing to buy them. It is what it is. Fakes are so convincing that people are willing to wear/carry them whilst pretending they are real.

Sure, people could buy this Watch Pro fake and try to sell it as the real thing, but again, caveat emptor. You are not going to see these being listed by Apple or an authorised reseller.

Not to sure what the big deal is here,..they do look-a-like products of a number of companies not just Apple.

Big deal, Ali has a whole heap of different manufacturers with similar watches, why did Macrumors chose to advertise this one? 🧐

LOL at all the people that think Apple's lawyers can do anything about this. If lawyers could stop fakes from other countries from pouring in, they'd have done it decades ago.
Exactly. This ripoff says a lot about the Indian legal system.

Given that Apple’s trying to establish manufacturing in India, I don’t see then having an unofficial problem with this.

I don't think this is going to sell other than to kids. It won't function well as a fitness tracker or smart watch. It's just for looks and may tell time.

This is e-waste right out of the box...

I don't care for the iWatch Pro, but I'd probably take a flyer on their regular iWatch copy, if it were available in the US.
