At the end of the day (my opinion) you can never beat the quality and smoothness of the iphone. The way you move, touch and the way everything is done.

WOW!! Thanks for those links. These must be some of the first professional reviews from Tech sites. Very thorough reviews. The phone is AMAZING!!! And that display just oozes Tech On The Bleeding Edge. Drool...Nothing comes close.
Up to now, most of the reviews have been early user reviews. It seems this phone is really impressing everyone that holds it. And the battery life is awesome as well. I'm not shocked at all. Looks like I made the right choice. Can't wait to get mine. And they say specs don't mean anything. LOL....

Found a few more:

With your enthusiasm and penchant for hyperbole you should become a salesperson for Samsung.

Specs mean nothing to the average consumer. All the want is a cool phone which looks good. Functionality comes second for most people, that's why iPhone will always win because iPhone and Apple in general is cool and in fashion at the moment.

I have studied these sort of effects in consumers briefly at school.

I agree that the "cool" factor is big, I would only suggest that software also plays a huge roll. It wasn’t a new hardware technology that made the iPhone amazing. In terms of hardware, even "huge boosts in performance", usually only equal out to a few perceivable seconds faster at best (under normal use). It’s the approach to software, which dictates how we interact with hardware, that defines a device. Touch screen interfaces had been around for a while before the iPhone. Apple was just the first to take a look at the hardware that was out there and design software that was good enough to cause an entire industry to stop and take notice. Steve himself said in an interview once that “Apple is a hardware company, that loves hardware, and because of that we write software.” There are a few phones out now, that beat the iPhone's technical specs, and the Samsung is a great piece of hardware, there's no argument there. The question is if they have taken the time, and have the skill to deliver a polished user experience through the software.

can i ask if you've jail-broken your iphone?

Sure. Just like I rooted every android phone I've owned, as well as my Pre and wifes pixi. I'm a tech geek so of course everything I own is unlocked/modded/hacked, from my ps3, 360, and psp, to every phone I've ever owned. Hell even my pc is triple booting windows, Linux, and hackintoshed Mac os.

There is no doubt Apple took their sweet time to sue Samsung. I have no doubt it's because Samsung will be bringing out new devices that will truly threaten their position in the mobile market. I've made it clear that I will not be getting another iPhone to replace my 3GS, and GS2 is the reason why. The new Galaxy Tabs and more importantly the Galaxy S2 phone will crush the competition. The performance on this phone is absolutely ridiculous. Especially how it just flies through FLASH heavy browsing. All hate aside, you truly have to be a blind fanboy (of any brand) to not take this thing seriously as an option to be your next phone.

Yeah, that's good and all... except it runs Android... ugh.

I bet you $50 Apple sells more iPhones than Samsung sells Galaxy 2's.

Firstly, it's been said so many times before, iPhones need flash and that's it.

But I can't see myself buying anything else but an iPhone, like one of the guys above stated - " it just works"
:apple:
