If the entire bottom half of the screen turns green when tilting the phone 10-15 degrees it’s almost guaranteed to be an LG screen. I have checked enough phones with sysdiagnose in store that this is usually true

Posted this in the other thread but here's the display manufacturer allocation for the 17s. Seems pretty accurate based on current posts
Thing is I also a couple of Korean language reports saying LG is not doing the 17 Pro.But less than 15% could also be the case lol
Someone prove me wrong and show me a 17P with GVC or GH3 😂
It’s honestly bullsh*t that Apple uses different display manufacturers with very different performance and no-one knows what they’ll get until they have it in their hands.
I bet the review samples had good displays. That or reviewers are blind. My iPhone 17’s display was simply awful.
Used to be I chose Apple products precisely to avoid this sort of nonsense.

TBH my screen exhibits the green tint when I tilt the phone towards me. In normal use it’s uniform. I’d be more concerned if it exhibited this when I tilted the top away from me. Also if I looked at it from the bottom at an angle while on my desk. Don’t tend to look at it upside down.

The slight vertical color shift on my Air has stopped bothering me, since it's so slight and I never use my phone in that angle. It looks perfect from every angle I use it on. So basically the only time I remember I have it is if I purposefully look for it by tilting the phone downwards in an extreme angle, which is ridiculous cause I would never do that normally lol
After following the instructions from the OP it came up about 8-10 minutes after.
We have 2 air’s here and they both look decent. There is a slight shifting to green when tilting up but nothing that looks unusual or what I’d consider excessive color shifting for an OLED screen. Both are GVC and both are very uniform. Does anyone have samsung panels in their air?
For LG i heard GVC is best vs the LG GH3. Personally i had both of them on 16 pro max when i had it before getting the 17 pro max and both were perfect.
Just setup an Air Black 256 (in UK) and immediately felt the screen wasn’t as sharp/easy to focus on as the 17 Pro. It’s got an LG GVC display and shifts to green on the whole bottom half when tilted away. I find this display shimmers across my eyes like all other OLEDS I’ve tried in the past.
I don’t think I will continue to use it for fear it will trigger my PWM sensitivity, + I find the colour shift too aggressive. It’s a damn shame, as it’s much nicer to hold than the 17 Pro.

Use the new option to turn PWM off and see if it helps.
