Could someone explain what this means, please?
Wow, no Kaby Lake on that? Let's go boo the Razer forums.

Holy macro... those are amazing specs, everything the MacBook Pro should be at it's ridiculous pricepoint. I'm not in the market for a laptop, but that Razer laptop makes things really easy.
No. they should NOT make the MBP 3.5kgs.
None of these things mean ANYTHING to me.They've screwed everyone this year;
iPhone users don't get a headphone jack.
Apple TV comes with a USB port but you can't connect sh*t to it.
MacBook users get crippled MacBooks.
iMac users get nothing.
Professionals get less than nothing.
One port that clearly doesn't rule them all.
We killed the headphone jack in the iPhone but then brought it back in the Mac.
We used lightening on the iPhone so it was incompatible with the new Macs.
We ridiculed the function keys and then ten minutes later announced a new MBP with function keys.
We ditched the power extension and the cleaning cloth.
We compromised the ports.
We used cheap RAM.
We throttled the amount of RAM the new Macs can run.
We reduced the battery life.
We announced one port to rule them all but then crippled that port on some machines.
We racked up the prices.
Apple products used to deliver a seamless and uncompromising experience.
Today, the ship has hit an iceberg.
Time to take to the lifeboats?
None of these things mean ANYTHING to me.
Appletv hasn't had support to plug anything into it since the first gen? I don't even know but this is a non issue. I mean really?
I haven't used a headphone jack in 3 years besides backups for my bluetooth ones die. Id rather have a waterproof phone than a headphone jack. i bought the 15"
Don't care about imac updates.
People here complain about the dumbest things. Not everyone is you
im not saying I'm everyone I'm saying not everybody expects perfection like you say. Somethings don't really matter to many many people. not just me.And not everyone is you either, but yet you think your own experience applies to everyone? The faults I listed DO however apply to everyone.
For the record, Apple could have easily made a waterproof phone with a headphone jack... but we all know why they removed it; to sell more 3rd party headphones so they can get royalties.

Apple has published a detailed support document highlighting the capabilities of the Thunderbolt 3 USB-C ports on the new MacBook Pro, unveiling some previously unknown details and outlining the different adapters that are needed to connect various accessories.
According to the document, while all of the ports on the 15-inch MacBook Pro and the 13-inch MacBook Pro without a Touch Bar offer full Thunderbolt 3 performance, only two of the four ports on the 13-inch MacBook Pro with a Touch Bar support Thunderbolt 3 at full performance.

The two ports on the right side of the machine have Thunderbolt 3 functionality but with reduced PCI Express bandwidth. For that reason, Apple recommends plugging higher-performance devices into the left-hand ports on that machine. As for USB, all of the USB-C ports on all MacBook Pro models offer USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10Gb/s) transfer speeds when connected to a USB accessory.
Other interesting tidbits in the document include the fact that six devices can be daisy-chained to each Thunderbolt 3 port on the MacBook Pro, and only one power supply can be used to charge the machine. You can attach multiple power supplies, but it's only going to draw power from the one that provides the most power.
Power supplies that exceed 100W have the potential to damage the Macbook Pro, and accessories like the USB-C VGA Multiport Adapter or the USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter can only provide up to 60W of power, which will offer slow or delayed charging in the 15-inch MacBook Pro. Apple recommends charging the 15-inch model with the power supply it ships with.
Apple also outlines powering attached devices with Thunderbolt 3 ports. The 15-inch MacBook Pro and the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar can power two devices that use up to 15 watts and two additional devices that use up to 7.5 watts. The 13-inch MacBook Pro with no Touch Bar and two Thunderbolt 3 ports can power one device that uses up to 15 watts and one device that uses up to 7.5 watts.
If you're planning to purchase a new MacBook Pro and are confused about which adapters you're going to need so it will work with your existing equipment and accessories, Apple's support document is a good reference to check out.

I couldn't believe looking at the specs, no gigabit Ethernet port. Then I looked and found that the previous gen MBPr also had no Ethernet port. Maybe that's when Apple jumped the shark and no longer is 'pro'. Sorry but all wireless is not a great option. Besides if I have a ready Ethernet port available why shouldn't I have this option?

I put the blame on out-of-control Ive. I mean really, we already see it with the cases for the iPhone 5c, where it has holes that partially cover up the iPhone brand, resulting in weird look.BOD need to fire Cook and Cue ASAP before they destroy all Jobs legacy
Really don't see why Moderators don't suspend some of these members or even explain to people that this isn't really an Apple issue.
These members clearly don't understand anything about PCI-Express lanes yet troll/whine just for the sake of it.

In which case then the machine would run too hot and or battery life would suffer or there would be some other unwanted side effect like exploding computers.Wow, everyone going "booh, apple tried to save yet another penny, cheap-a** company!".. Have ANYONE heard of PCIe lanes? It's physically impossible to have 4 full-speed ports on the 13" without a CPU upgrade to the one used in the 15".
