The shareholders raking in cash and customers buying all the products agreeBest CEO of all time!
I did not saw the interview. But I supposed he is referring to the engineering part (e.g. apple silicon), one thing is the capacity of doing something vs actually doing it. iMessage on windows = apple has the capacity to do it but not the will to make it happen. Most likely they will not do it until either they are force by the gov or if they see a business opportunity. If apple is a place where "No" is not an acceptible answer, then i'm asking, "Please release iMessage for Android and Windows".
Perhaps they just said “Thick,” which in Jony-speak is the biggest no of allWell, Apple did say "no" to Jony Ive -- eventually -- so I am grateful.
Yet you are "Loyal to Apple Forever". You often down vote yet are still loyal. Care to let us know why?I agree. It sounds like he just wants to say buy our products and support our ideas with whatever we do. It's all sales talk. He should be in the Marketing department, LOL.
"Loyal to Apple Forever" Not "Loyal to Tim Cook". There is a big difference between those two.Yet you are "Loyal to Apple Forever". You often down vote yet are still loyal. Care to let us know why?
Of course I’m not sure why you would be surprised of that. First and foremost they are a corporation designed to make money. Everything is second to the main goal. They have secondary goals such as the environment and other political issues that I couldn’t discuss here but those will always be secondary to profit. That is not just a characteristic of Apple but to any corporation. A more cynical person might think Tim Cook’s talking about whatever is just pandering but I believe he’s sincere when he talks about something but he also knows that in order for any of that to happen Apple has to stay in business and make a profit.Apple believes privacy is a "fundamental human right" ... until it conflicts with business interests
There’s always a place for “No”. This is why there isn’t ads on the iPhone home screen or a lot of other garbage that exists in the android world. If you want iMessage it’s easy buy an iPhone. If apple is a place where "No" is not an acceptible answer, then i'm asking, "Please release iMessage for Android and Windows".
That's just great as otherwise we would have had phones with ridiculous notches and mice with laughable bottom charging ports. Awesome job, team!"Well, usually the way that you get people around here to do something is to tell them you're not sure it's doable. That's the red flag in front of the bull because a lot of people here don't take "impossible" as being true. If we convince ourselves it's in the best interest of the user, that's a compelling force for us to power through the problem."

At least he smiles. However, he's only one smile away from being likeTim Cook says so much here without actually saying anything at all. Every response just turns into an opportunity to sell an Apple product. I don't feel like I'm reading a human being saying anything real. Should I expect to? Not through the lens of capitalism, no. But it sure would be nice to know there's a living person - and not just an uber-wealthy corporate entity - being interviewed here. This might as well be prefaced with "Sponsored" across the page.
And even further, loyal to Apple Products because nothing else comes close. Just like Amazon Shipping. I can order Sat Evening and get the item the next day. Other companies can't even ship in less than a week, plus the crappy delivery speed. And even if you have a choice to upgrade, the shipping cost is more than a month of Prime."Loyal to Apple Forever" Not "Loyal to Tim Cook". There is a big difference between those two.
Also, I tend to stay real and speak the truth. When I see something is wrong/not right I will point it out. No holdbacks!
I mean, I hear you can grill them once, but after that, they won't ever invite you back. Apple is very particular about tailoring reviews and interviews that only make them look good. Only option really is a congressional hearingAnother PR interview with the scripted questions and talking points. Apple executives are never grilled by journalists these days. Sad
Apple is not a church."Loyal to Apple Forever" Not "Loyal to Tim Cook". There is a big difference between those two.

That's if he will ever walk away. I think It will be Luca Maestri. Yes, Craig is a great choice but I don't see it happening. When Tim walks away I would like to see CRAIG Federighi as CEO of apple.
I would like to see the entire upper management replaced with TRUE innovators. When Tim walks away I would like to see CRAIG Federighi as CEO of apple.
I don't know either. Though, since my re-joining of the Apple community (2013) it seems to me that QC has gone down for the sake of marketing/profit. Or maybe I don't have a long enough experience.Do you think Tim Cook is a fan of himself/being a CEO or a fan of Apple? Can’t really tell.
